Chapter 17: Sacred City

The next day, Eli Shan stood confidently at the grand gate of his clan, fully prepared for his journey to the martial arts school. In his hand, he held a small bag containing his clothes and essentials.

Huang Shan looked at him and nodded with a smile on his face, meanwhile, Yui Shan couldn't hold back her tears and kept crying by hugging eli shan.

Eli Shan also hugged his mother, then father and got ready to leave the clan.

He didn't have any friends in his clan, as for some reason, everyone used to keep their distance from him, and he also never tried to be friendly with others too. But on this day, everyone gathered at the grand gate of the clan to bid farewell as Eli Shan prepared to depart for school, which shocked him.

He nodded at his elders and everyone with a smile and got ready to depart.

There was still one month left for the entrance exam of the school so, he didn't want to go there by riding a horse or from any vehicles. He wanted to reach the school by running, as it would further enhance his physical power and he could also test his stamina.

Eli Shan hugged his parents, said his goodbyes to everyone, and departed from the clan gate, waving his hand.

After walking a bit further, he gathered all the strength in his legs and suddenly jumped with his full power, suddenly disappearing from everyone's sight.

His speed was astonishingly fast that no one could track him, and he vanished from everyone's sight, leaving everyone in disbelief. They were all shocked and had the same question in their minds: "He could cultivate?"

Even his parents were confused at this point as they looked at each other with shock and happiness in their eyes.

In the vast forest and towering mountains, Eli Shan ran like the wind, his feet carrying him higher and farther with each step, soaring through the sky.

As he ran, Eli Shan could feel the spiritual qi left inside his body was getting absorbed by his body even more, making him even stronger with each stride. Realizing it, his lips became wide with a big smile as he thought, "I can still get stronger!"

As Eli Shan continued running through the mountains and forests, he noticed that the resistance of the air was increasing exponentially with his speed. To counter the force, he instinctively shielded his eyes with his hand, but the more faster he ran, the more the air seemed to push against him. Just as the frustration began to build within him, suddenly a daring thought crossed his mind – he could try to control the very wind that challenged him!

Without stopping, Eli Shan continued running, his focus solely on controlling the unique power of his body and absorbing the very essence of the wind itself! After some tries, he finally succeeded! Feeling the success, his smile grew wider as he began to absorb even more wind energy! Little did he know that he wasn't merely absorbing the wind but, the very laws that governed it! This remarkable feat was considered impossible for an ordinary person, but due to his unique constitution, he could easily achieve it.

As Eli Shan continued to absorb the essence of the wind, the once opposing force now began to bend to his will, obediently following his command and flowing away from him. 

Wind intent!

As he passed through the dense forest and crossed large rivers, Eli Shan felt the essence of the wind all around him.

He knew that everything has its own intent. Just like a sword has its own intent, or fire possesses fire intent like that wind has its intent too.

But what was the wind's intent? It was the feeling of becoming one with the wind itself! This was the feeling which he was feeling next!
