TRYING AGAIN
*
Ashton Irwin has been fucking wanting to scream at the couple next door.
It's been a week since they made up, and all he can hear is giggles. But those giggles of Alexis, as much as he likes her to be happy, are too fucking annoying. He hasn't even been able to enjoy masturbation because the videos he watched were out-ruled by the giggles. He couldn't hear shit from the videos. It felt like he was jerking off to the giggles instead.
At least they found each other back. Ashton couldn't be more grateful about that. He's been rooting for them, and they've been on a few dates the past week. Both Luke and Alexis have come to him to tell him everything about their dates. They have been head over heels for one another again.
He's heard every detail about their dates and from both points of view. Some were so detailed it almost felt like he was right there with them.
But Ashton is also overreacting to come back at the first point. The curly guy hasn't been able to hear moans all week. He really thought he had gone somewhere with Eve, but she hadn't texted him back. So, to clarify his feelings, he envies his roommate. Of course, she just went through her downfall, and she deserves all good; he had hoped good would come for him.
Before he realizes this, tears form in his eyes and roll down his face. He wants a relationship, and he's been trying to get to know girls, but it shows once again that he's only good for a night. He doesn't like admitting that he gets attached too fast sometimes, only when he feels a connection.
"Are you okay?" Alexis asks her roommate, not noticing the tears yet. He's been silently watching television. Ashton looks up, and now Alexis sees his tears. She closes her bedroom door behind her and walks up to the couch to wrap her arms around the guy. Louder sobs leave his lips. Alexis feels powerless; she has never seen Ashton this way.
"I fucking hate it," the girl looks at him but decides to stay quiet. Her arms are still firmly wrapped around him. "Everybody has someone, and people only want me for a good time."
"Ash, that's not true," Alexis tries, but she hears how useless it is. "I'm sure Eve is interested. I saw the way she looked at you."
"Yeah, because I gave her five orgasms before you guys walked in. No fucking shit, she looked at me that way." Alexis' cheeks turn red, and she can't find the correct words. "I thought we had something more," Ashton admits. "But now I know it's all in my head."
"Why do you think she doesn't like you?"
"It doesn't take a week to text back," Ashton explains.
"It's that I don't have her number anymore; otherwise, I'd talk to her for you and tell her she's stupid for this. If she's still the way I remember her, the two of you would be perfect together. She's stupid if she doesn't see how amazing you are."
"Thank you, Al," Ashton smiles weakly. Alexis wipes away his tears and presses a kiss onto his cheek. "Do you really think I'm more than just a good night?" He asks her.
"I know you are," Alexis tells him. "You have been here for me through thick and thin. You have been nothing but amazing, sweet, and caring. You deserve someone who can at least give you a piece of that back. Besides, I wouldn't know how good a night would be with you, but given the noises I hear whenever there's a girl over, I think I have my answer." She chuckles. "However, that is not the point. You are more than sex."
"I really thought Eve wouldn't do this." He admits shyly.
"How about you text her to meet you somewhere? She likes that approach, direct. And maybe try not to get laid and try to get to know each other. And if she won't react or doesn't show, I know how to fight."
