Tommy POV
-
I wake up feeling happy but a bit tired also, it's my birthday so I should feel happy right?
I sigh as I get up from my bed and I go change, I feel like we might not even be able to celebrate my birthday in these conditions
Even though the kingdom is going to war and my family does not have time to celebrate my birthday, I still have hope that maybe we will celebrate my birthday today but I know deep down that we will not, my father is already told me that we won't be celebrating it, I don't really mind it really I wouldn't want to celebrate my birthday without my brothers anyway since they're off to war and stuff.
As I finish changing I walk out of my bedroom and walk down the hall, these Halls feel more quieter lately.
I know I'm normally supposed to wait for a maid or something like that to come get me food but I had woken up and unusual time, it was around 5:00 a.m. I knew no one to be up at this time.
I'm not really hungry anyways I guess I could wait, I don't know what there is to do really I'm not really able to go outside much since my father is worried that someone will hurt me, which is pretty stupid since I can protect myself, I'm 19 now.
The closest thing I have now to outside, is the garden.
I guess I'll go there that's one of my favorite places recently.
I walked down the hall and I get closer to the exit into the garden, as I walked down the hall I take a glance at my brother's rooms.
I haven't seen them in a few days, I was worried they were dead or something but when I asked father if they were he just said no.
I didn't believe it since I can't really believe whatever he says anyways not after what he done. But at that time I just really hoped he was telling the truth.
I open the door to the garden and I take a deep breath, as I walk through the garden I look at my favorite flowers.
They're golden, they're beautiful, and then the last thing I have to remember her. My mother
I sit down beside the golden flowers and I pick one.
Before mother died she would plant these flowers, mom had died when I was around 7.
I remember watching her, plant the flowers.
I asked her why she planted them specifically.
she would always say "they remind me of you".
Now in the past for years they're the one reminding me of you.
(Sorry if this is bad)
