Shirohebei wandered through the forest, stepping quietly and calmly through the dense greenery. She walked with a confident and steady stride, enjoying the peacefulness of the forest and taking in the surroundings. With the sun shining faintly through the leafy tree branches and the gentle breeze blowing through the air, she noticed a soft, subtle sound and looked carefully in that direction. It had been a night and a day since she completed her mission, assigned by Kabuto, and she had been traveling to Hagani Cave, which was located around The Land of Fire.
The kunoichi continued to walk through the forest, listening for the source of the soft sound that she had heard before. The sun was beginning to set, and the air was growing cooler as the trees cast longer and darker shadows over the area. Shirohebei became aware of another sound, slightly louder than the one before, and her curiosity piqued; she followed it. The woman looked around carefully before stepping forward. Shirohebei moved slowly and carefully through the greenery, her gaze focused as she searched for the source of the sounds and noises in the area. The young woman stepped into a small clearing, her eyes falling upon a sight of the unexpected: a rabbit tugging at some nearby foliage. She watched in silence for a moment, studying the small mammal curiously, when suddenly, a serpent sprung forth from the tall grass and made quick work of the rabbit. She observed the rabbit attempting to escape, but its efforts were in vain as the snake wrapped itself quickly around the terrified animal. Shirohebei watched the snake inject its venom as its fangs sank into flesh, and the rabbit fell silent and still.
Shirohebei was thinking about what she had just seen when she heard a snap behind her. She quickly turned around, and to her surprise, saw Kabuto standing behind her. He was calm and collected as he spoke to her, his expression as steady as ever.
"Hello, Shirohebei. I believe we have things to discuss," he said, a grin playing at his mouth.
Shirohebei was taken aback by Kabuto's sudden appearance, but she quickly regained her composure and nodded in greeting. "What an interesting display of life and death. Truly a marvel that we got to witness such a thing." He spoke calmly.
"We were supposed to meet at Hagani Cave. Why have you come to me, instead?"
"Observant, as usual, Shirohebei. Please excuse me for my sudden approach. I am here because of an urgent matter that requires your assistance." Kabuto replied calmly, still maintaining his demeanor.
Despite her confusion, she understood that Kabuto had his reasons for being there, and she was willing to hear him out, even if she didn't want to. "What is it that you need my assistance with this time?" she asked.
"Come on, Shiro," He began. "Let's discuss other matters. I may be in a rush, but there was other business which needs to be taken care of." Kabuto spoke in a cool, almost teasing manner as he casually strode past the kunoichi. "I trust that you've taken care of the mission you were last assigned?"
