Milestone Specials!

Twenty followers Milestone!

Now, my little campfires (don't ask I don't know why I felt like calling y'all that)

We open this milestone with some Hidden Ones of The Wood content! 

It shall be

Several of them have not happened in the current timeline of HOoTW yet, but will, or have happened but off scene.  

These quotes will be from Twig, Pine, and Thorn! 

We now begin. 

Opening from Pine, because his power hasn't really been shown in the book yet (technically it's not a spoiler but even if it is this is a special where the rules are slightly bent)

"You sound like a quiet and steady symphony with a darker undercurrent and a lovely chorus.")

Guess who he was talking about!

Next up, that skipped scene when Thorn lost his temper with Té, and broke one of his chairs after learning the Tea Guy was lying about knowing about the way his far-senses work. 

"You know what Tea Guy, im not going to listen to the, 'what do you mean's', because you know exactly what I mean. You knew. About the way my far-senses have worked! You talked to me about it and lied? You knew the whole time! And I have to learn from a moon-blasted textbook that the reason for what happened is vague dimensional competence? What about for the- no, those are different, but all the wondering?!"

As you can see, our little Thorn has a sharper side. (Pun intended)

And now, Twigs quote! It has not yet happened yet, but I do plan on including it in a later scene.  She is talking to Té about how she's worried about Thorn, because of reasons I cannot yet disclose because it would be a much more direct spoiler and therefore breaking the milestone rules I have set for myself. (indirect spoilers permitted but not like a straight up spoiler)

"Something's off there. You can see the fear in him. But it's different from the way he gets scared. Something's happening- I-I can't read him as well now. I really can feel something cold, and it's scaring me, Té. I'm really worried, and all the pieces are all jumbled up,"

Now. Once again, a Pine quote, one that could apply to either Thorn or Té. For different reasons. (Once again, I can't say why because spoilers) I haven't decided who yet, but I will eventually.

"There's a... missed beat. Something happened to him. Maybe it was bad. But whatever it was is messing with the rhythm of his song."

And ending with another Thorn quote (yes, I know, Twig only has one, but I couldn't think of anything else at the moment. I may edit this later"

"When it all comes down to it Twig, my curiosity  broke me. You might not realize it now, but this is my only option. You've always been curious too. I have to warn you, it dragged me down to this, dragged me in and I'm so, so sorry, but- "

AND THEN HE GETS CUT OFF

AND SLASH OR INTERRUPTED

AGAIN, SPOILERS, but, I think that can hold y'all over.
