It was Y/n's first day of 11th grade, and the universe seemed determined to test her punctuality. School started promptly at 8:10, and as luck would have it, she had woken up at the ungodly hour of 8:00. It was a cruel joke, as if time itself was conspiring against her.
Frantically, Y/n raced through her morning routine, attempting to conquer the impossible task of getting ready in a mere ten minutes. Clothes were thrown on with reckless abandon, makeup applied with the precision of a race against time, and her hair was coerced into a messy bun that screamed "I give up." With only half of her morning checklist completed, Y/n glanced anxiously at the clock. She had precisely three minutes left. Panic started to creep in, wrap its icy fingers around her throat, and squeeze.
Just as Y/n began to lose hope, her older brother, Sunghoon, sauntered into the room. He leaned against her bedroom doorframe, a mischievous grin lighting up his face.
"You look like a demented scarecrow," Sunghoon teased, clearly relishing Y/n's predicament. "If only the school could see you now."
Y/n scowled at her brother. "You're not helping, Sunghoon. Go away."
Mom's stern voice suddenly echoed through the hallway, "Y/n, why aren't you ready yet? You're going to be late!"
"Oh, trust me, Mom," Y/n muttered, "I'm well aware of that."
As Y/n's internal clock ticked closer to doom, she realized that this dilemma was just one of many challenges that awaited her in 11th grade. But for now, all she wanted was to survive this morning madness and make it to school in one piece. With a deep breath, she forced a smile and said, "Alright, Sunghoon, save your mocking for later. Help me find my shoes, or we'll all be late."
Sunghoon's face twisted in mock sympathy. "Sure thing, sis. But only if you promise to make me pancakes for dinner."
Y/n rolled her eyes, the weight of the ticking clock urging her forward. As she and Sunghoon scrambled to find her elusive shoes, she couldn't help but wonder if this frenzied start to the day was merely the beginning of a turbulent school year filled with absurdity.

As I sat in the backseat of the car, my patience wearing thin, I watched as my mom drove at a snail's pace through our neighborhood. I glanced at the clock on my phone and groaned. I was already late for my first day of 11th grade, and every minute counted.
"Mom, can you please speed up a little? I'm going to be late!" I pleaded, my frustration evident in my voice.
"Y/n, there's no need to rush. We have plenty of time," my mom responded in her usual calm tone, oblivious to my panic.
Sunghoon, my older brother, seized the opportunity to annoy me further. "Oh come on, Y/n! It's not like you'll miss anything important. Just relax!"
I shot him a glare, willing him to be struck silent. Of course, it didn't work. Sunghoon loved pushing my buttons.
"Are you two finished bickering?" my mom sighed. "I don't want any fighting on the first day of school. Y/n, you'll get there when you get there."
I slouched in my seat, defeated. There was no winning this battle. As the car continued to crawl, I watched as my classmates sped past, their laughter echoing in my ears. It was going to be a long day.
Little did I know, my mom was about to make an unexpected turn. "Oops! I think I missed a street. Hold on, I'll take a shortcut."
I could only groan, resigned to my fate. Late on my first day of 11th grade, all thanks to my mom's snail-like driving. This was definitely going to be a memorable start to the year.

After what felt like forever i finally made it I rushed into school, I collided with someone unexpectedly. It was my best friend, Minji.
"Y/n, watch where you're going!" Minji scolded, rubbing her shoulder where I had bumped into her.
"Sorry, Minji! I just dont want to be late. Even though i already am." I gushed, trying to catch my breath. "Hey, who's that guy over there?" I asked, pointing in the direction of a tall and handsome boy.
Minji glanced over. "Oh, that's Ni-ki. He's the captain of the football team. But be careful, Y/n, he's known for being mean."
My heart skipped a beat as I observed Ni-ki from afar. "Wow, he's so beautiful," I whispered dreamily.
Just then, my annoying brother Sunghoon made his way towards us, ready to annoy me as always. "Hey, Y/n, have you met the new guy?" he asked, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"No, not yet," I replied, trying to sound nonchalant.
Minji rolled her eyes at his teasing. "Don't listen to him, Y/n. Focus on your studies."
But I couldn't help but daydream about Ni-ki as we walked to class. What would it be like if he noticed me? Would he be interested in a dumb girl like me?
My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the bell, and I reluctantly snapped back to reality.

As i walked into class with Minji, I could feel Mr. Jeon's angry stare piercing through us. It was not a good start to the day.
"Y/n! Minji! Late on your first day! Do you two have any idea how important it is to be punctual?" Mr. Jeon scolded us.
Minji whispered, "Great way to begin the day, huh?"
I sighed and muttered, "Tell me about it..."
We quickly took our seats, hoping to blend into the background and avoid any more attention. But as soon as our butts hit the chairs, all I could think about was my crush, Ni-ki.
"Minji, guess what?" I whispered excitedly.
"What is it?" she asked.
"Ni-ki is just so dreamy. I saw him in the hallway this morning, and he smiled at me! I think he likes me too!"
Minji rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Y/n, he smiles at everyone. He's just being polite. Also we both saw him in the hallway not just you"
I pouted, crossing my arms. "You're just jealous because you've never had a crush on anyone!"
Minji laughed, shaking her head. "Trust me, Y/n. You don't want a crush on Ni-ki. Now, can we please focus on the math lesson?"
I reluctantly agreed, but in my heart, I couldn't help but dream about Ni-ki capturing my attention. Who knows? Maybe he wasn't as mean as Minji thought. As Mr. Jeon started lecturing, I started slapping Minji's arm over and over again.
"Omg what! Im trying to focus!" She said annoyed. "Sorry, sorry. I didn't mean to yell. But what is it?"
"Can i copy your notes? I said desperately pleading.
She showed me her notes and i copied them quickly. I was writing fast as she tried to hide the papers form the teacher.
"Annnddd..." i stuck out my tongue slightly finishing up the last words. "Done!" I said happily.
"Good." She said taking her notes back.
