Everything Has Changed

As soon as we got to their house I could tell calling them rich was an understatement. These people were absolutely loaded. "What's your job?" I glanced towards the two of them. They awkwardly looked towards each other then back at me. "We're in business" I nodded my head as I looked back out the window and at the house.

I didn't buy that at all, no one gets nervous about being in business. Business is boring, not nearly exciting enough to make anyone nervous.

But I wasn't going to push it. Afterall I was their guest, a guest that just met them at that. So as intrigued as I was, I dropped the topic. Maybe they would tell me one day but for now I'll just keep my suspicions to myself.

"The boys shouldn't be home for a while but until then we're going to be showing you around the house and introducing you to our workers." He motions towards the driver as he parks the car. "That is John, you just call him anytime you need to go somewhere, this can be quite a dangerous town especially for a girl like you" I furrowed my eyebrows at him which he ignored.

"You're a pretty girl," Elizabeth comments as she looks towards me. "There's many people who would want to get their hands on you especially if anyone finds out about your relationship to our family"

Oh-

"That doesn't make me nervous at all." Elizabeth chuckles as she grabs onto my hand. "Don't worry everything will be fine, just make sure you have John with you whenever you go out okay. He's going to be your personal bodyguard-driver from now on"

Who the hell are these people?

John turns around in his seat and sends me a smile. "It's nice to officially meet you Aria" I nodded my head as I sent him a smile. "You too"

I looked back towards Matthew and Elizabeth. "So why exactly do I need him-" I glanced towards John out of the corner of my eye. "No offense" He shrugs his shoulders as he looks down at the phone in his hands. "None taken"

"It's just a safety precaution. We're very rich if you couldn't tell-" I looked back out the window at the house. Yeah I can definitely tell.

"-and lots of people would love to take advantage of you to get to us." I nodded my head as I went to open up the door. Getting out of the car, Elizabeth follows along behind me. Matthew gets out and goes right to her side.

"Follow us" Matthew says then immediately starts walking towards the door. I jumped in my spot and started chasing after them. They held onto each other's hands as I trailed along behind them, watching as she leant up against his side and he kissed the top of her head.

I frowned as I looked down at the ground.

"-you ready?" I heard a voice suddenly say, I jumped as I looked up at the two of them to see they were looking at me in amusement. I nodded my head as Matthew smiled and opened up the door, motioning for me and Elizabeth to head in.

I walked into the house instantly, getting shocked at the sight. I don't know how else to describe this room than just absolutely gorgeous.

There was a huge chandelier in the middle of the foyer while there were stairs on both sides of the room. A huge circular table with a vase full of red roses was placed underneath the chandelier.

A group of people came rushing in through the door which I was guessing led to a hallway. There were two women and two men who immediately smiled at us as they greeted Matthew and Elizabeth. Then they looked down at me and frowned.

"Oh dear i'm so sorry about your mother," An older woman says as she walks towards me. She had dark brown hair and bright blue eyes. I smiled at her sincerely and was shocked when she pulled me into a hug.
