Layla Fisher hated conflict so how did she find herself in the middle of a karate war?
Layla grew up in Encino with her adoptive parents, Henry and Caroline Fisher, and her cat, Betty. She was adopted at birth. Her birth parents weren't bad people, they just weren't ready to take care of kid as they were teen parents (16) when she was born. She did ended up getting into contact with them when she was 13 since they reached out to her but she didn't see them as her parents so they decided that when she was ready, if she wanted too, she could reconnect with them. Until then, they still send her money and try to keep up with her life.
She had been in Karate until she was 13 since she dropped out for volleyball which was how she met Miguel. She didn't go to the same school as Miguel but she had heard about his accident.
She was in the hospital at the same time as him after spraining her knee which landed her in brace. Thankfully her injury wasn't bad and she could rejoin volleyball once healed.
She had accidentally walked into his room thinking that it was hers. The two engaged into conversation and became friends which led to more. She found herself joining Cobra Kai. She and Miguel both ended up falling for each other and revealing their feelings, she even moved schools to be closer to him. Then, she found out about Sam.
Layla wasn't the most jealous person but seeing how close Sam was with Miguel cause an emotion she had never felt before. After meeting Tory and finding out about that he cheated on her with Sam, she brought it up to Miguel and he tried to argue with her which led to their argument and their break up.
After the fight at the LaRusso house, Layla was grounded. She was only allowed out of the house for Karate and Volleyball practice.
Now, she found herself trying to get over Miguel and trying to figure out how to deal with the new found anger.
