The next day I wake up to a text from Sira.
Sira Martinez: Are you free today? Wanna go to the mall before Spain's practice?
Me: Yeah! I have nothing planned today. Let me grab a quick breakfast and I'll text you when I'm ready.
Sira Martinez: Sounds good. See you in a bit!
The breakfast hall is almost empty which is not a surprise since it's almost 11am. But a girl must get enough sleep so no one can blame me for being there a little later than usual. Madeline wasn't in our room when I woke up so I'm guessing she is with England's team or spending time on her own. Hopefully she is having fun because she really deserves that. It would be a little relief to what she is going through with Pedri.
Sira and I meet at the lobby and take a taxi to the mall. It's nice to spend time with her. She seems like a genuine person and I love the way she talks about Ferran and the team. It's clear that she really loves him and the way her eyes soften when she mentions him is adorable.
The mall is a place that feels like heaven to me. I love shopping and walking past different shops feels like being a kid in a candy store. There are bright colors everywhere and I can't even decide where to look. I would love to test almost everything and spend hours in the shops.
Sadly we don't have that much time before Spain's practice so we do just a little run to Starbucks. Sira takes her favorite iced latte with espresso shot and I take a pink drink with extra strawberries. Coffee has never been something I would drink voluntarily so it's a no thanks for me.
As we are about to exit the mall something catches my eye in the window of Victoria's Secret. The lacy red underwear set is screaming my name and I can only imagine how stunning it would look on my body. If I had that, I would just stare at my own body for hours. I type a quick reminder on my phone so Madeline and I remember to check that out later. Who knows, maybe we'll find something eye-catching.
