"The Nemesis"
At the bridge, Starscream stands with his arms folded behind his back as Shockwave and a newly reformed Black Arachnia enter the room.
Shockwave: Project Overkill is complete. The newly cloned Insecticon armada is ready for deployment, and the mind control chip is ready to be tested.
Shockwave pulls out a remote and presses, activating the chip as Black Arachnia kneels before Starscream.
Black Arachnia: I live to serve you, Lord Starscream!
Starscream: Excellent work, Shockwave!
Black Arachnia stands.
Shockwave: I leave my creations in your hands. I have other matters to tend to.
As Shockwave exits the room, a call comes across Starscream's comm-link.
Skywarp: ::Starscream! Me and the boys are ready to rock and roll! Where are you?::
Starscream: I'm on the way.
Skywarp signs off as Starscream and Black Arachnia exit the room and head out to join the rest of their Decepticon comrades.
"Detroit, 11:50 A.M"
On the rooftop of the Autobot Base, Sentinel Prime stands near the edge, looking out into the distance as Sideswipe, Chromia, and Mirage join him.
Sentinel Prime: Listen, and listen good, Mirage! As far as we're concerned, you're a member of Team Sentinel, therefore you'll answer to me now. You brought us into this mess, and you'll be the one to get us out.
Mirage: I fully intend to.
Sentinel Prime: If even think about deserting us, or breathe the wrong way, I'll put you down myself. You got that?
Mirage: Loud and clear, sir.
The skylift opens as Ironhide ascends onto the roof with a large object hidden beneath a tarp at his side
Ironhide: Gentlemen...and lady! I hereby introduce to you the ultimate base defense, con crushing weapon of mass destruction.....
Ironhide pulls off the tarp and unveils an anti-air cannon mounted onto a trailer.
Ironhide: The Flak Cannon, a quad barreled anti-aircraft weapon ideal for engaging airborne, specifically Decepticon Seekers in this case! It's a byproduct of weeks of hard work and every piece of spare parts at my disposal.
Mirage: Impractical, yet impressive!
Sideswipe: That's Ironhide for you! The old timer's as crafty and cranky as they come!
A few minutes later, Sari flies over to the base and opens her battlemask.
Sentinel Prime: Status report.
