BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

I groaned as my alarm clock went off, smacking the snooze button. I rolled over and shoved my face back in my pillow, attempting to hide from the sun. 5 minutes later my alarm goes off again.

"Fine, you win this time." I say to my alarm clock. I hit the off button, and drag myself out of bed. I grab my phone, and turn it on. No texts, what a surprise.

I look over at my door, and see my outfit hanging there. Oh yea, it's the first day of my sophomore year in high school. Hendrick High School to be exact.

The most dreadful place on earth. I grab my outfit off the door and head to my bathroom.

Once I finish pampering myself (or at least trying to), I head back into my room. I look in the mirror, and give myself a small smile. I was wearing ripped jeans with a white shirt that said "Lower East Side" going across in black lettering. My blonde hair was in a french braid that ended halfway down my back. I had decided to put on a small amount of makeup for once. Just some mascara here, some eyeliner there, light pink eyeshadow here, a bit of blush there, and a tad of red lipstick. Not too much, but not too little. I put on my black converse, and looked in the mirror one last time before heading downstairs.

"Finally, I thought you'd never come down." My little brother, Peter, said to me once I had walked into the dining room.

"Don't you mean you hoped I would never come down so you could get all the attention?"I said, giving him a small smile.

He blushed, and mumbled, "You know me too well."

I walked over to him, and leaned down so I was next to his face. "Isn't that what older sisters are for?" I asked, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

He smiled, then went back to eating his waffles.

I looked over at the stove, and saw my dad making waffles and pancakes. I walked over, and wrapped my arms around him.

"Mornin daddy." I said, leaning so that I could see his face.

"Morning Hun." He said back. "What'll it be this morning? Pancakes or waffles?"

"Waffles please." I said, leaning into his back.

"Ok, I'll make you a plate. But in the meantime, can you please go get your older brothers?"

"Sure daddy." I said, unwrapping my arms and walking towards the stairs.

When I reached the top of the stairs, I turned right and walked all the way to the end of the hallway. I opened the last door on the left, and braced myself. I opened the door all the way, and walked in. As I walked in, I saw two out of my three older brothers sitting on the ground.

"Hey Jade." My older brother, Ryan, said.

Ryan is the type of guy who could get any girl he wants, but surprisingly chose to be single. He was the star of the football team, with blonde hair and piercing green eyes. He was very muscular, but then really sweet and caring. If I weren't his sister and three years younger then him, I would have given anything to date him.

"Sup Jade." Hunter, my second oldest brother, said.

Hunter is a jock, but then could be classified as a nerd. With his light brown hair, bright blue eyes, and height, well, that's enough to make any girl go crazy. Plus he is an amazing soccer player. Like, good enough to get a scholarship into college, and those are almost impossible to get these days. Plus the fact that he's really smart. Like smarter then Ryan. And Ryan is a senior while Hunter is a junior. Yeah he's smart.

"Hey Ryan. Hey Hunter." I say back to them. "Where's Josh?"

"Josh went somewhere but I don't know where." Hunter said, looking down at the ground.

"Where'd he go?" I asked, looking over at Ryan.

"I don't know." He answered, looking at the ground also.

"Oh my gosh. You guys suck at lying. Now, tell me where he is or I will bring mom up here."

That caught their attention.

"Why do you want to know so badly?" Hunter asked.

I fought the urge to roll my eyes. And he's supposed to be the smart one. "Oh my gosh. How stupid are you? Well, I want to know cause he is kinda MY BROTHER! Also known as my TWIN BROTHER!"

"Oh yea." Hunter said.

"Wow Hunter you really are stupid." Ryan said, looking over at Hunter.

"Tell me." I said, glaring at them. If looks could kill, they would for sure be dead right now. "Or I will bring mom up here."

"Fine." Hunter said. "He ran away."

Hey guys hoped you liked it! I'm starting a new story, as you can see, and probably won't be continuing my other one, Stuck In The Middle. I didn't know where I was going with it, so I'm not going to write anymore on it, but I will leave it up. I'll try to write another chapter or so soon, but I have finals so I might not be able to. But I promise that I will write another chapter this weekend! Bye for now<3
