It was suppose to be the best summer ever. It was suppose to be warm and sunny. I was suppose to be on the beach right now in Florida, but instead I'm handcuffed to the chair in this dark, filthy, cold, room.

So many things ran threw my mind, that it stressed me out. One thing I knew for sure is "they" love it when I'm like this.. Terrified, lonely, cold, and aching.

I finally snapped out of it when I heard him coming in. I felt my whole body tense up. I was completely terrified.

He slammed the door pretty hard. He tramped in the same room with me, loudly. I could tell by his breaths that he was irate.

I just sit here quietly hoping maybe its all just a dream. I clutched onto the arms on the chair, that my arms were cuffed to.

I woke up screaming, sweaty, and painting. I quickly turned on my lamp beside my bed.

My mum rushed in my room quickly. She flicked on the big light.

"Kendal? What happened?," she said worriedly.

I shook and pulled my arm over my eyes.

She cautiously looked around my bedroom and sighed when she seen nothing.

" mum, I've been having those dreams again.."

She looked at me puzzled.

"I thought they stopped when we moved.."

I shook my head and laid there shaking.

My mother sighs before saying, "I promise nothing bad will ever happen again. Go back to sleep and it'll all be better in the morning."

She pats my back and kisses my forehead before shutting the light off and leaving me in the low lit room.

I stay up for a couple of more hours before slowly falling asleep. I never thought you could be so scared of someone in my life, until now.
