Chapter 4: Criminal

[KEN's POV]
My heart is full.
I am not alone now.

My day starts with thoughts of Luna and Kale. For the first time in my life, I feel complete. So this is why a lot of people wanted to start a family. It was an experience that definitely changed my perspective in life.

I don't know if I am dreaming but these past four months everything between Luna and I are so wonderful. I'm starting to feed my delusions that she might like me or maybe love me even. I wanted to tell my feelings towards her in the most unforgettable way. I want her to know how serious I am and she can rely on me as a future partner and husband. We haven't had the time to actually talk about it seriously. I mean we do have sex once in a while - OK, we do it a lot. Whenever we have free time. She's good, how can I resist?

Also, when I want to talk to her about my feelings, my whole body shakes uncontrollably. I'm so nervous. I don't have the courage yet. I'm still afraid that she might say that she likes the sex but not really inlove with me. And of course, Justin. That's one of the reasons too. They are still friends and sometimes he comes to the house with Angela. I'm not jealous, no- I'm cautious. I know that she likes him.

"Ken!" someone taps my shoulder. I turn around and saw Jaz smiling at me. She is our team leader.

"Oh, TL Jaz. Ano un (What is it)?" I uttered.

"After our shift, we will have practice for our Christmas team presentation. Did you and Christian already made the choreography?" she asked.

"Yes, TL. We're ready." I replied.

"Good, laters then." She smiled and winked at me.

I just nodded and resumed my work.

After our shift, Christian and I taught our team the choreography for our Christmas presentation. I missed this - dancing and performing.

"Maybe at end, Ken can do a somersault. Right?" suggested Jaz excitedly catching my gaze.

I was surprised. I haven't done acrobatics since I became a dad. I might need some practice.

Christian (my closest friend here) and I exchanged glances. He knew that I was out of practice.

I just nodded at him. "Yeah sure. I can do that."

Jaz clapped her hands happily, "Great! Can you do it now?"

I chuckled nervously, "Oh, I still need practice so please don't expect anything."

"That's alright. Go, Ken!" hyped Jaz. The others pitched in and cheered.

I moved a few steps back and relying on my muscle memory did a somersault. I landed shakily but it was not that bad.

My team cheered.

"That was amazing!" squealed Jaz and patted me on the back.

It was already 9 am when I went out of our office building, the bright sunlight hitting my face made my eyes squint.

"It's a beautiful day, isn't it?" said someone beside me.

I turn my head, eyes still squinting. It was TL Jaz.

"Ah, yes it is. I'll go now TL. Ingat (take care)!" I waved my hand and started walking to the bus stop.
