I sat in the carriage looking out the quarter lights. I could see the drops sliding down the quarter lights, it reminded me of the time I was still child. I used to watch the drops slowly but surly sliding down the window and I would look which one fell first and that drop  would win the race. I was a very shy child. I preferred listening to the adults than playing football with the other children. But I learned a lot from it. It did also have its negative side. I never had close friends, of course I have some friends but not one on whom's letter I wait on every week. Luckily I have Mary my cousin she is my best of friends but sadly we don't have a lot of time to send each other letters. I am on my way to visit her at French court. Sadly I could not attend her wedding a few months ago because my grandmother was extremely sick and I felt like it was my responsibility to take care of her. And at the same time I had a new baby brother who's name is Octavian he is an absolute angel.  My mother told me to find a suitable husband at French court. But I think that is nonsense, I believe I still have a bit to learn before marriage and I am not even of age yet, I will me in a few months. Which I still find crazy to believe.  I got shook out of my day dreaming by

Helena, who is my lady.
Helena:  Theodora we are almost there . She said softly
Theodora: Thank u Helena. I thanked  her

I wrote Mary a letter but I have no idea if she has read it I hope she has. When we arrive the rain stopped. Helena helped me get out and. I wore a light blue and white  long sleeved dress and my hair was up in a elegant bun with a  gold necklace that has  a pendant hanging from it. In it I have picture of my family. My grandmother, my mother, my father, my big sister , my big brother, my twinsister and wel now my little brother. I love them all very much and it broke my heart to leave them but my mom told me it was better if I visited Mary since we could not attend her wedding. The guard welcomed us and we entered the castle. There were some lovely people that led  us to the throne room where we saw king Françis. I walked to him and bowed.

Theodora:  your Highness.
Françise And who might you be dear?
Theodora:  I am Theodora Stuart cousin of Mary Stuart.
Françise : It's a honneur meeting you Mary has told me a lot about you. He said with a kind smile.
Theodora: The honor is all mine your highness.
Françise: Ow please call me Françise.
Theodora: well than Françise would you know where I can find my cousine.
Françise: Well of course.

He talked to one of his staff member's it was a young man. The young man smiled at us and we followed him to the most beautiful garden I had ever seen. We walked between rose bushes and there I saw Mary sitting on a bench. I coughed twice to get her attention. She looked up.

Mary: Theodora is that you?!
Theodora: Oh Mary what I have missed you.

Both young girls  ran to each other and hugged each other tidily.
They slowly let go of each other.

Theodora: Mary I am so sorry I could not attend your wedding there was to much going on. But I brought you a present. And Mary this is my lady Helena.
  you give her the little chest Helena was holding.

Mary: Ow Theodora you shouldn't have. It's nice meeting you Helena. Mary smiled at Helena.
Helena:  It is a honor your majesty.
She says as she leaves to prepare my bed chamber.
Theodora: Oh but I did . I hope you like it.

Mary opens the box to find a necklace covered in ruby's and diamonds
