Any second now they would cross paths, and she would be forced to say something to him. She needed to say something to him.
She could feel her palms getting sweaty and her shoes starts to drag aginst the tiled floor as if time were slowing down.
His steps finally synced with hers as his brown eyed gaze met her nervous stare in a flash, as if he'd been holding onto it up until that very moment that they would meet for the last time. Her breath caught as her brain screamed for her to say something....... say something.....SAY SOMETHING.
And in that last second...Sara did something that made her heart sink into her chest, and her throat start to dry up making it hard for her to breath. The big crowd of students suddenly became all too noticable as they're voices carried a little too loudly and everyone began walking a little too fast. Her fingernails dugging into her skin...
....as she looked away.
