One warm evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon & painted the sky in hues of orange and pink, Alicia & Nate found themselves sitting beside a babbling brook. The soft rustling of leaves & the gentle gurgling of water created a peaceful atmosphere.
Alicia hesitated for a moment, her little heart pounding with nervousness. "Nate," she began, "I have something I want to share with you, something I've been keeping inside for a long time."
Nate looked at his dear friend with genuine curiosity, "What is it, Alicia? You can tell me anything."
With a deep breath, Alicia revealed her secret, "I have always felt that I am not truly a girl squirrel. In my heart, I feel like I am a boy. I want to be called Andrew instead of Alicia."
Nate's eyes widened with surprise, but he smiled warmly at his friend. "Thank you for trusting me with this, Andrew. I'm here for you, & I will always support you no matter what."
