Your conversation didn't stop there. But you wish it did.
Now you're inside your shop. Was it kinda small in there? Yes. But why would you need a lot of space for the type of business you own?
You're sitting at your desk, in silence, just awkwardly looking at Gepard. He hasn't said anything to you for 20 long seconds. You could tell he was trying to convince himself with saying something... 'Why does he almost look constipated?'
Yup. That was the first thing that popped into your mind. Finally, Gepard speaks up. "You're lucky I'm not on duty, I would have you arrested for scamming me.". He was DEAD serious; but cringed right after saying it as if all his confidence vanished into thin air.
You couldn't help but giggle. "You wouldn't anyways. You guys don't control our little world down here, remember?" A smirk made its way to your face. Suddenly, something came into your mind "Hmmm, why are you even out searching for Sampo anyways?"
His cheeks got a little red, his head facing the floor. "I don't need to tell you.."
"Oh? Well now that you gave me that reaction.. I NEED to know!" Gepard's eyes widened. Oh how you loved teasing him. Maybe Sampo was rubbing on you a little bit.
He just looked at you, a little frightened. You couldn't tell what it was, but he just looked so cute..
You didn't like him or anything. That's a little fast don't you think? But you did admit that he was cute, even attractive. He wasn't your exact type, but he just did something to you.
"H-ehm, I'll be leaving now." He coughed. It seemed he wanted to leave this conversation, maybe hide in his room forever? You never know.
You wanted to leave a while ago. So you didn't complain. "Alrighty, bye-bye pretty boy~..". You wave was seen by him as he nods and, briskly, leaves.
Whew was all that came to you. The awkward talk was getting to you. And you needed to get home.
You locked the front door, and flipped the sign that once said - Open and Present for Deals! - to - Closed! Will be back soon! - .
The walk from your shop to your house wasn't bad. It was a couple blocks away.

Finally, the feeling of your soft couch collided with your back. Velvet fabric was something you did like, especially for furniture you'd be using often. Sometimes, sleeping on the couch made you feel better than your own bed.
You just couldn't wait for tomorrow, mostly the deals and money you'll get.
