Chapter 1

Maisei and Asher met online when they were both 16 years old. They lived in different countries, but they had a lot in common. They both loved music, art, and books.

They both had dreams of traveling the world and making a difference. They both felt lonely and misunderstood in their own lives.

They started chatting every day, sharing their thoughts and feelings, their hopes and fears, their laughter and tears.

They became each other's best friend, confidant, and soulmate. They fell in love, even though they had never seen each other in person.

They made plans to meet someday, to close the distance that separated them, to finally hold each other in their arms.

But fate had other plans. Maisei have a serious cancer that have chance to die. She had been on the waiting list for cure for years, but her chances were slim.

She didn't tell Asher about her cancer, because she didn't want him to worry or pity her. She wanted him to love her for who she was, not for what she had.

Asher had a troubled family background that forced him to grow up fast. He had an alcoholic father who drank and gambled away their money, and a depressed mother who depended on him for everything.

He didn't tell Maisei about his problems, because he didn't want her to judge or reject him. He wanted her to love him for who he was, not for what he lacked.

They kept their secrets from each other, hoping that one day they would be able to reveal them and overcome them together.

She decided to tell Asher the truth before she went under the rope. She called him and confessed everything.

Ashee was shocked and heartbroken when he heard Maisei's voice crying and apologizing on the phone.

He couldn't believe she had been hiding such a big thing from him. He felt upset and betrayed, but he also felt worried and scared.

She told him that Maisei had passed away because her body can't take anymore pain.

She told him that Maisei's last words were his name. He broke down in tears, turning off his phone in his hand.
