Latching On

Chapter 5

Hayes POV

I woke up to the bright sunlight shinning through the curtains, it was really bright so I grabbed a pair of sunglasses and sat up. I saw that everyone was still sleeping then I saw that Nash and Elena shared the bed. Nash had his arm around Elena waist and her head was resting on his shoulder. I smirked and pulled out my phone to take a picture. I took it and sent the photo to them. I stood up and made my way to the bathroom to change being careful that I didn't wake anyone that was sleeping on the floor. After I changed I went back to my bed and started playing some random games on my phone. I soon heard shuffling followed by soft groaning. I turned and saw that Elena was waking up but she couldn't movie because of Nash's grip. I laughed and she turned her head towards me and mouthed 'help' I nodded and walked towards their bed. I grabbed a pillow and slowly replaced it in Nash's arm while she carefully slid out. She held my arm for support  while getting up so she didn't stumble. I was getting hungry so I asked her "Wanna go get breakfast?" She nodded "Sure, I'm starving." She then made her way to the bathroom to change.  

Elena's POV 

I slowly walked to the bathroom, and blushing because Nash's arm was over my waist. I felt safe in his arms and comfortable. I started washing my face, too lazy to take a shower and un-did my bun, smiling at the result. My hair was now wavy and it looked really nice. Since it was quite sunny out, I decided to wear a dress, I was more of a jeans person but whatever. I pulled out one of the dresses from my suitcase. I grabbed a pair of circular sunglasses and walked out if the bathroom.

"Leggo!" I said to Hayes.

He looked up from his phone and smiled at my outfit. 

We walked out of the room and made it to the lobby. We decided to go to pancake house because we were both craving pancakes. We arrived at the restaurant, ordered our stuff and sat at one of the tables.

"So, he said looking up, are you interested in one of the guys?" He said raising his eyebrows.

"Nope" i said popping the 'p' 

"Oh, c'mon!" He demanded. 

"Dude, i've only been here a day!" I said to him. 

"Tell me! Tell me!" He screamed.

I looked down and started playing with my fingers nervously. 

"U-um- I-i thin-k I like Matt." I stuttered and mumbled the last part. "Don't tell anyone!" I pointed my finger at him.

"Matt and Elena kissing on a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!" Hayes started singing. I slap him on the arm gently and said " Well i've only known him for a day, it might just be a tiny puppy love crush Hayes." I rolled my eyes. We continued talking about stupid things when my phone buzzed. I pulled out my phone from my back pocket and saw that it was Cam.  

Cam 💩: Where are you and Hayes? Don't tell me you guys died! 

I rolled my eyes and said to Hayes " It's Cam, he's asking if we died." Hayes laughed and started taking vines of some random shit. I replied to Cam.

El: Yeah, we died, zombies ate the crap out of us."

He soon answered back. 

Cam 💩: Very funny El, now get back here!

I rolled my eyes once again and told him that we'd get there soon.

"Hayes!" I interrupted Hayes in the middle a vine he was filming. I told him we needed to go when I got another text. I thought it was gonna be Cam but I smiled at the name, Nash.
