hermione laughed at draco's impression of the man in the grey suit from the night circus.

at the beginning of summer, hermione had convinced draco to start reading some of her favorite books. so every night they'd always have a mini book club, with just the two of them. for the month, they were reading hermione's favorite book, the night circus. which was a mystery book, with a touch of romance.

"hermione."

"draco."

"i have to tell you something. something that i probably should've told you a while ago. and something tells me you might already know because i was making it obvious. but i wanted to tell you that i like you."

"i like you too, draco."

"as, like, more than a friend?"

"yes."

"more than, like, a best friend?"

"i just...im happy im with you, i've liked you for forever. but i don't know if i can stand our friends. they're a little...much? i know they mean well, and i love them..." hermione trailed off.

"trust me, you don't have to tell me." draco chuckled.

"so...secret relationship?"

"secret relationship," draco confirmed.
