I sitting in my bedroom scrolling through Instagram. My friends are posting pictures from Canada, Greek, France and Germany while I'm stuck here in SAD over the summer because of a family situation. My grandma passed away last month and my mum got everything my grandma had like jewelry, pictures and money. My dad secretly took all money mum got from grandma's house and spent it on drinks with friends in clubs. First problem, he comes home drunk and yells at everyone and second problem he spends moms money.

When my mom found out dad spent all money she got from grandma, she couldn't stand it anymore so she is looking for somebody to divorce them. My sister is on collage so she doesn't know about situation at home but I am suffering. I don't go in kitchen anymore because that become mum and dad's favourite fighting spot so I lose couple of pounds because of that. My only hope to get out of here is if I get an email from South Korean college that have dorms so I can stay in South Korea a whole semester.

I get up from my bed and change from pajamas to some jeans and a hoodie. I start drawing in my sketchbook while listening to my Spotify playlist. Only good thing about whole situation is that my dad still pays me a Spotify premium. After 20 minutes I got bored so I started do make same jewelry. I made two necklaces, three bracelets, two rings made from clay, two from beads and one one anklet. It was fun while making them but I'm bored again so I decided to call Stephanie.

- Hey Steph! How are you?-
- I'm okay. How are you? How is family situation going on?-
- Don't ask. What are you doing?-
- I'm with Sam in Italy. We are on a cruise. I saw many actors! Don't worry I got a sign from Tom Cruise.-
- Thanks Steph. And I am really happy that you are having best time in your life without me.-
- Susan Rose Lawrence, how dare you to say something like that?!-
- I'm just kidding, Steph! Relax!-
- You better be! What?....oh, ok. Sorry Su, I have to go. It's lunch time and I will not miss lunch with Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise!-
- Hahaha, I know. Have fun and tell Sam I told him to not bother you to much!-
- Hahaha, I will! Love ya and please don't die while I'm on this trip.-

I hear my mum and dad fighting again. I want my normal life back so bad right now. I remember last year. Whole family was here and we were celebrating my sister's graduation from high school and finally getting in collage she wants. It was so fun, so many snacks, food and drinks. We had pinata and water balloon fight. My group won. I stop thinking when I hear a sound on my phone. I got new message. It's from Kristen.

Kristen doesn't care about people much but she is trying. But she isn't successful in that because she lives in her own world. I hear knocking on the door.

- Come in!-
- Hey Susan. We need new groceries and dad is drunk again and I don't have energy so you need to go. You can whatever you want for yourself. Here you go, the grocery list.-
- Okay, thank you.-
She closes the door of my room. She doesn't hate me, she is just tired from fighting with dad. I get up and take jacket from wardrobe and a tote bag. I don't want to go down and see dad drunk so I go out through the window. It's not really safe but it's safer than being in the same room with my dad when he is drunk. I take my bike and go to the store.
- Hello, Susan!-
- Hello Marge! How are you?-
- I'm good like always, I'm just bored because my kids are at college and husband is at business trip.-
- But you got me! I'm can't go everyday to you because of family situation but I will try my best to come to you more often.-
- I know, my dear but don't do anything dangerous. Please.-
- I won't. I have to pick up some things, you know.-
- Yes, I understand.-
- I'm here around the corner Marge.-

Marge is like my second mum. She understands my family situation and worries about me and my health. Sometimes, if my dad is too aggressive, than I go to Marge's house on coffee and biscuits. There is not many people in the store because many of daily customers are on vacation. Usually I talk to 20 people when I go to store. To my school friends, neighborhoods, teachers, cousins and many more people. I take everything I need and I get back to Marge.
- You are back so quickly?-
- I didn't talk to 20 people while shopping so yes, I am back quickly.-
- Did they send you an email? You know from that collage in South Korea?-
- Not yet but you will be the first person to know.-
- Okay, take care and eat well. You look like ghost!-
- I will Marge. See ya!-

I get back home and start checking Instagram pictures. Steph posted a picture with Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise on the dinner with her and Sam. Kristen posted picture with a Greek boy and Alice on a ship. I check the Gmail incase they send me an email from that collage. They didn't. I open my gallery
and started looking at old pictures with my cousins. I didn't see them since last year because they don't won't talk to us because dad is an alcoholic. My other grandma doesn't care for us anymore after my dad stole her money and my aunt is disappointed with him and she doesn't want her kids near him because he is bad influence on them. It's 7pm so I change in my pajamas and go to sleep, praying for a better tomorrow.
