"XIAO LIN!" Xie Bailian screamed as the man fell off his horse,
"Xiao Lin!" Schooler Pang panicked. Bailian pushed through the crowd and ripped the prince's armor off. Her hands glowed brightly and her eyes glittered with tears and the amount of power she was summoning.
"You cannot die!" She yelled at him, one hand on his chest and the other drawing powerful spells of healing over and over again.
"You will not die!" She screamed, putting more and more power into the frantic gestures.
The crowd was blinded by the bright lights of her magic.
"YOU WILL NOT DIE!!" The amount of power she was wielding at this point would have corrupted her if it was any other situation, but she cared deeply for Xiao Lin, and would not let him die. Her hands and eyes were like small suns, and the wound on Xiao Lin's chest closed up and he sucked in a breath.
He would live.
Bailian collapsed on the ground and people swarmed to take her and Xiao Lin to a tent. Neither would die, but whether Xie Bailian would remain good or become evil was still uncertain, after all the power she had wielded.
Everyone believed she would be fine. She had saved them many times and had always had a pure heart. But would she be able to fight off the darkness alone?
