Even though Taehyung had been inside for the past several decades, he had seen the world changing whenever he watched the television. Seeing how much it had changed in person though was a completely different story. He knew that the purpose of being outside wasn't to gawk about at his surroundings, but he couldn't help it. In a way, it felt like he was on an alien planet. Gemini looked over at him every once in a while, misinterpreting his gawking as him being disinterested in her.

"So, Tae...why did you ask me to coffee?"

Taehyung turned his eyes away from a motorcycle racing by to look at Gemini. At her question, she seemed to duck her head a bit and turn her eyes towards the ground.

"I...I think you're a sweet girl, Gemini and I wanted to get to know you better."

What Taehyung had said wasn't a lie. She was sweet and kind. She was someone that he was growing attached to. He wanted to deepen their connection not just because she was the key to making him human. He watched her cheeks flush as she lifted her head to look back over at him.

"I'm happy to hear that. I was worried I wasn't good enough for you."

"Nonsense. If anything you're too good for me," said Taehyung.

"I doubt that," said Gemini.

'If only you knew the truth about me,' thought Taehyung, 'then you might not doubt that as much.'

"Why are you being weird?"

"Weird? How so?"

Yoongi rolled his eyes as he looked at the way Namjoon was leaning up against the bookcases in the aisle, looking like he was doing some sort of odd modeling pose.

"Are you telling me that you normally go around leaning up against bookcases like that?"

"Maybe."

Yoongi sighed as he reached out a hand to try to move Namjoon aside so he could go see where Gemini was. Ever since he had woken up from his cat nap on the couch, he had been trying to go check on his stepsister but kept getting stopped. This just increased his already growing suspicions about Tae that he got after researching his name.

Namjoon was hard to move at first, but Yoongi eventually made his way past him and down the aisle where he had left her. He entered the aisle to see that the books were still stacked on the floor and that Tae and Gemini were nowhere in sight.

"Where is she?"

He whipped around to look at Namjoon who was just shrugging.

"I honestly don't kn-..."

What Namjoon was saying was cut off as Yoongi stalked back over to him.

"I know about Tae."

Namjoon - whose face was passive until now - looked wide-eyed at Yoongi's statement.

"What do you mean?"

Yoongi moved to dig out his phone, pulling up the same article that he had been looking at the other night. He turned his phone around so that Namjoon could clearly see what was displayed.

"You need to start telling me what the heck is going on here, and where on Earth he took my stepsister."

To say he was embarrassed was an understatement. First he had dropped the money Namjoon had put in his pocket all over the floor and had to chase it to clean it up and now this. Taehyung ripped some more napkins out of the dispenser in front of him as he tried in vain to sop up all the coffee that he had managed to spill on himself when he had tried to drink. He wasn't used to drinking out of a cup anymore.
