The Bright morning Sun dawned over the small village town. the sun shining brightly over the horizon. as the town was often quiet and well populated with wonderful people. occasionally the towns folks set up small stands that held food items, sometimes even other items that we're worth a lot unknowingly. these stands surrounding every corner of the towns area. plenty of goods to be sold to newcomers and visitors that stumble across the unpopular town.
Today happened to be a brightly colorful filled day as the towns folks set up there stands outside every home and pathway. along with brightly colored banners following each street. Except there was one house that was left undecorated and plain, and looked rather run down and old.
This little dull home was owned by a three lovely folks. two of the folks who owned the home had woken up early that morning to attend their Family-owned business. along with a small bonus stand to sell a few hand-crafted products.
the Folks who had left early in the morning to get there stand set up first before any other citizens could set up. had left a plate of breakfast, consisting of bacon, eggs, and a biscuit. for the child they took care of. the child being around the age of 17-18.
The child happened to still be asleep despite his parents having a certain time that he had to strictly wake up for to assist his parents with their store. he was one of the workers. there weren't many others who worked in the store besides his mother and father. Hense the word ' Family-owned business '
The child's alarm clock went off as he fell out of the bed and bonked his head on the wooden tile. as he brought his blanket covers with him. his alarm clock kept going off as he throws a collectable figure at the alarm clock that was placed on a wooden shelf on the wall.
The Clock fell shattering. as the impact of the clock falling made a large crashing sound as the child remained on the ground, laying on the cold floor still feeling sleepy and was too lazy to get up.
He finally got up after a few minutes of just lying on the cold hard wooden floor. and opened his closet and grabbed a Checkered Plaid Long Sleeve Shirt. along with some ripped and torn apart jean shorts. as he would walk to the Restroom after leaving his room. along the way to the room, he stared at the hall that contained every picture of him and his family taken and hung up in vintage wooden frames nailed to the hallway wall.
he proceeded to smile softly while remembering the times his family weren't so busy and distracted working to keep food on the table and keep a roof over their heads.
he was often left alone at home and usually had to do stuff by himself. his family was also often gone almost 24 hours. they only arrived home at very late times. it's become unhealthy due to the times they arrive home. they do not get sleep usually either. and often get up very early in the morning to disappear and head to their jobs.
As he passed by the photos, he walked into the restroom changing out of his pj's and into his set of worn-down clothing. it almost made him look like a lumber jack due to the fact he's wearing a red checkered plaid Shirt.
Apon walking out of the restroom and down 1 set of stairs, he noticed a plate on the dining room table with food. a note would lay next to the plate. he stared at it thinking to himself for a few seconds "Did... mom leave this out...huh-" the note has his name on it, the words "For Caine" labeled at the top in fancy big wording and it said "I made breakfast. sorry me and your father haven't been home much... it's been a rough week; we have to work extra hard to fix up the house. and afford food for the house. Hope the breakfast can get you through the day for now" the paper was signed " -Mom "
He seemed rather confused and just plain out stunned by the fact his mother took the time to make breakfast for him and leave it out. since his parents were always absent from his life and never there for him meaning he had to do everything for himself, such as cooking, cleaning, and practically everything else.
He would often leave the house by himself and wander around the village and pass by the lovely stands, he basically knew every part of the village, he also knew every hiding spot and alleyway.
Caine decided on this day he was going to go out and leave his dull house for once. as he grabbed a small bag that resembled a purse with the arm strap. the bag was medium sided made for carrying a ton of items.
He headed to the door and opened it, then sprinted out, leaving the front door opened. as usual Caine always forgot to shut the door and lock it. it happened very often. he still hasn't memorized that he has to close it. he's often destructive and careless.
