Willow turned around quickly and spotted a young boy in 1800s clothing on top of the staircase. "Who are you?"Willow asked "I'm not supposed to talk to strangers"The boy replied. "Well my name is Willow, that doesn't make us strangers anymore does it?"Willow said "Hmm I guess not, well my name is Donny"Donny replied as he started going down the stairs. "Well Donny what are you doing here all alone?"Willow questioned "I'm not sure, I can't seem to remember well"Donny said.
"What do you mean by you can't remember well?"Willow said "Well my memory is all fuzzy and if I try to remember my head starts to hurt"Donny replied as he finally got to the end of the staircase. "I see, actually Donny do you mind if I ask you a question?"Willow asked "Hmm sure, whats the question?"Donny asked. "Well I wondering if you know what this place is, I'm not asking about the house but the forest?"Willow asked as she crouched down to Donny's level. "Hmm well I have heard other people call this place The Forgotten"Donny answered.
"Other people?"Willow said questioningly "Yeah typically around here you can find people just wandering around crying"Donny replied "I'm not really sure why this place is called The Forgotten or why there crying"Donny said as he walked into what seemed to be a living room. "Okay, well do you know if this place as some sort of Library?"Willow said as she followed Donny into the living room. "I'm not really sure, too scared to explore this place as at night you can here really scary sounds"Donny said "Night it already looks like Night all the time?"Willow questioned. "It may look like its night but its really not, its night when you can't see anything outside, just blackness"Donny said as he went up to a toy-box and took out a train.
"Well thank you Donny for some of this information but I really should get going"Willow said as she started heading for the door "NO, you can't leave its going to become night soon and you really don't want to be outside when its night!"Donny yelled as he quickly grabbed Willows hand to stop her. "Why can't I go outside when its night?"Willow questioned "Well when its night scary monsters come out, not like the scary monsters that are already out during day"Donny replied as he tired to drag Willow back into the living room.
"Okay okay, I won't go outside"Willow said as she puts her hands into the air and follows Donny back into the living room. When there both in the living room Donny goes straight back to the train and starts playing while Willow just stands there awkwardly. Eventually she goes and sits on the couch while still watching Donny play. "So Donny what kind of things do you hear in the house while its night?"Willow asked "Well I hear crying and things moving around and sometimes I can hear glass breaking in the kitchen"Donny replied while continuing to play. "Okay do you know whats making that sound?"Willow asked "No but I have a guess and I think its those people"Donny said as he points to a painting of a man and woman.
Both the man and woman are wearing 1800s clothing, the woman has brown hair and black eyes while the man has blonde hair and blue eyes. Both look eerily similar to the young boy almost like those are his parents, maybe they are his parents and he just doesn't remember them. Just then a clock made a sound to signal night is about to begin "Oh its about to turn night, we need to head upstairs and go into a room"Donny said as he got up and started heading for the staircase.
Willow decided to follow him as she doesn't want to be by herself from what she heard that happens when it turns night. Once she made it up the staircase she saw Donny start to go all the way to the end of the hallway, so she followed him. Once Donny got to the end of the hallway he entered the room on the right and held the door open for Willow to enter, once Willow entered the room Donny shut the door and locked it.
"Why did we go in this room?"Willow questioned Donny replied by saying "Its the safest room when it turns night, the things outside the room don't really like to head over here for some reason". Willow then decided to look around and noticed the room looked like a children's room, maybe the man and woman don't go over here because its a children's room and it reminds them of something Willow thought to herself. Just then a crash was heard downstairs, "Oh it must be night then, though it is weird that they broke something, don't typically start off with that"Donny said as he opened another toy-box.
Donny then took out two dolls, one that looks just like Willow and one that looks just like him. "Donny you do notice that the dolls look like you and me right?"Willow questioned as she walked over to the boy. "Oh the girl does look like you but what do you mean the boy looks like me?"Donny asked. "Do you not know what you look like Donny?"Willow asked "No all the mirrors inside the house are either completely broken with no glass or are boarded up"Donny replied.
"Oh, well the boy does actually look like you, I guess now you know what you look like"Willow said as she awkwardly looked away from Donny. "I guess so"Donny replied back as he walked over to a huge dollhouse that looked actually like the mansion there in. Donny then put the girl inside the living room while putting the boy inside the kitchen and started to play with them. "Hmm, this dollhouse looks actually like the mansion were in"Willow said as she walked closer.
"Oh I guess it does, I don't really go outside much so I'm not sure what this place looks like"Donny said as he continued playing with the dolls. Just then the door knob rattled like someone was trying to break inside the room, both Donny and Willow looked at the door as it continued to rattle getting more violent as time passes.
"They never do that before, they always stay away from this room"Donny said scared as the door continued to move more violently.

Another Cliff hanger, now I know this chapter isn't as long as other chapters. Its just I wanted Willow meeting Donny to be its own chapter with a little bit of whats to come with the next chapter. But the chapter is still around a thousand words which is still a decent chapter length.
Now your might be wondering about the monsters and then the people who look like normal people, you gotta have to wait. The lore of this world and its people will be explained as the story continues. So I hope you liked this chapter and I will see you all next Sunday,
