Chapter 20

Point of View Jackson:

"Well, it was my first day in first grade, but the teacher put a test to see where I was in level, but I passed it, so she give me another test and passed it, so she gave me another test and I only got 2 wrong, I was disappointed, but she told me that I was very smart because it was third grade level, and that tomorrow my parents should be there", I say looking at Mama. Elkie nods with a smile. My dada suddenly took me off her shoulders and had a big smile and hug me. "Wow my baby is smart like his Mama", Dada says. I nod and hug her.

I hear someone calling we turn around and is the members. I do not like them, but I like Dahyun. She is nice and plays with me. Dada puts me down. I see Dahyun seating in a couch, I go to her and climb on her lap and sit down, she only hugs me.

"Why does Jackson calls you Dada, shouldn't it be Mommy or mother", Nayeon says. Tzuyu and Elkie laugh a little. "Well when we took him to school 2 months ago, he was sad that he does not have a dad, but we explain why, so we told him that he could call us Dada or dad to me or Elkie, he choose me, and I was happy", Dada says to the members. They nod. I turn to Dubu, and she feels off. I touch her face and she is hot. "Dada, Mama", I yell, they come running to me. They says what is wrong. I point to Dubu. "She very sick", I say almost crying. Mama carries me, Dada checks Dubu and carries her and runs away, Mama and the members and other people follow them. We get to a hospital. They told us that Dahyun has the Flu and that she needs to recover. I hug mama tightly. "Everything is going to be okay, she is going to be okay", Mama says kissing my head. Dada sees us and hugs us.

"You can enter, if you like but need to use a mask", the nurse says. I tell mama to put me down, I grab a mask that is in my pocket and putted on. Mama and Dada smile at me and they take my hand and walk to Dubu's room. Dada knocks. We go in. And see Dubu sitting down. She looks at us and smiles. I run to her and hug her leg. She laughs but coughs a little. "Dubu, sick, want water", I say looking for the water. She nods. Mama gives me bottled water. I give it to Dubu.

Point of View Dahyun:

I was sick. JYP has been working us a lot lately. And I'm tired. I hear a knock and Jackson, Tzuyu, and Elkie come in. Jackson sees me and runs and hugs my leg.

Jackson gives me a water bottle. I drink the water and lay down. I feel someone crawling in bed. I open my eyes and see Jackson getting on top of me. I try and get away from him. I do not want him to get sick. "Is okay Unnie, we have masks and have our flu shot", Tzuyu says sitting on the side of the bed.

I see that Elkie sits on a chair. She looks at me and nods. I smile. I feel someone moving again. I look at Jackson and he fell asleep. I look at Tzuyu and she is laying on my lap. She looks like a puppy.

Point of View Elkie:

I see that Tzuyu is getting comfortable on the bed with Dahyun and Jackson. She looks like a puppy. Tzuyu has her head on Dahyun's lap. Jackson is laying on Dahyun's left side shoulder. I look at Dahyun and she looks tired. I see that Dahyun is patting Tzuyu's head and Jackson's head. I grab a magazine from the nightstand. "Are you going to stay", Dahyun says in a whisper. I look at her. "I'm not going anywhere", I say to her grabbing her hand. She nods and squeezes my hand a little. I do not let go of her hand. I close my eyes and put my head on the bed, I'm still holding Dahyun's hand.

Point of View Jihyo:

We are still waiting in the waiting room. Tzuyu, Elkie and Jackson went in 2 hours ago. And we are still waiting for them. The members and the managers look worried about Dahyun, since the morning she look paled and sick, but she said that she was fine. I get up and tell the members to follow me that we are going to see Dahyun. They nod. I tell them to be quite. We get to Dahyun's room, and the first thing that I see is Tzuyu sleeping in Dahyun's bed. And Jackson on Dahyun's left side asleep. And Elkie holding her hand with her head on the bed asleep. I see Dahyun and she is asleep. I get out of the room. All the members see what happen then they get out of the room. We go back to the waiting room and sit down and start to get comfortable on the chairs, the manager sees what we are doing and tells us to go home, but we say that we are going to stay.

Point of View Third:

Is morning. The members sleep in the waiting room, some on the chairs, some on the floor. Tzuyu is waking up, but when she looks around, she sees that she is in the hospital, she look around, but nobody was there. Tzuyu thinks that her brain is playing tricks. She looks at the chair and sees that a purse is there. She grabs it and it is Elkie's purse. Tzuyu goes into the bathroom, and nobody was there. Tzuyu starts to panic, the last time she was in a hospital she almost lost Elkie. Dahyun, Elkie and Jackson are in the cafeteria getting some food to eat, Dahyun is much better.

Tzuyu is panicking more. She goes out of the room, and starts searching and run in all rooms. She yells for Elkie's name. The nurses and staff are trying to calm Tzuyu down. Tzuyu runs to the waiting room to see if she was there. But she sees the members. When the members see her, they know she is in full panic. "ELKIE", Tzuyu yells desperately. Someone comes running. Elkie comes into the waiting room with Jackson in her arms, Dahyun behind her. When Tzuyu looks at her she quickly goes to Elkie and hugs her. Elkie hugs her back. "I could not find, I thought I lost you", Tzuyu says crying. Elkie knows what she is talking about and hugs her tighter. Jackson also hugs Tzuyu. Elkie lets go first, Tzuyu lets her go but grabs her hand. "Can someone explain to me what happen right now please", Chaeyoung says curious looking at Tzuyu. Elkie nods and says to sit. Everyone sits. Dahyun also sits with them.

"When I was giving birth to Jackson there were complications", Elkie says holding Jackson closer to her. And squeezes Tzuyu's hand. "Like bleeding out", A manager says.

Elkie shakes her head. "I died", Elkie says. Everyone has a shock face. "The doctors told me that Elkie was dead, but the baby was in good health, I did not believe them, I went in and saw Elkie lying there", Tzuyu says crying. Everyone looks at her worry.

"I hold Elkie's hand and cry for her, I yell to the doctors to give her CPR, but they said that they have already tried", Tzuyu says crying. "I did CPR for a couple of minutes, and nothing I was getting to give up on her but suddenly her heart started, the doctors rush and they kick me out of the operation room, one of the nurses came outside to tell me that they have a heart beat but needed to stabilize her", Tzuyu says crying looking at the floor still holding Elkie's hand. "I waited for a couple of hours, I don't know how long, but in that time, I went and see how Jackson was, a nurse took me to him, he was very little, I hold him and he only laugh, I just feel on the floor and cry with Jackson on my arms, the nurse were worry, at that time I did not know for who, for me or him", Tzuyu says looking at Elkie's hand.

"I was holding and feeding Jackson for a while, until a nurse came and told me that Elkie was save and stable, I immediately told her to take me to my wife, the nurse nod, I follow her, but I still had Jackson on my arms", Tzuyu says looking at Jackson that is playing with Elkie's ring.

"When I enter the room Elkie was asleep, the nurse told me that she was okay but needed to stay, because her heart stop for almost 8 minutes. I sat down and was still holding Jackson. The nurses brought a bed for Jackson. I only sleep on the chair. Until it was midnight, I hear her getting up. When I see that she is fine I hug her", Tzuyu says looking at Elkie. All the members and the managers look at her.

"So you do not like hospitals because you lost Elkie", Sana says sadly. Tzuyu nods.

"Yeah, it was the worst and happy day of my life", Tzuyu says.

"If I have lost Elkie Jackson would have lost her Mama, and I would have stay home, and things would be a lot more different right now", Tzuyu says. The members are curious of what would change.

"What would be different?", Jihyo says curious. Everyone looks at Tzuyu.

"For starters I would not have signed the contract, I would never have come to Korea, I would not be a singer, I would be single, I would also be only working on the companies that I have", Tzuyu says. The members look at her in shock. Tzuyu got up and left the building. The members where going to follow her but.

"She needs time", Elkie says looking at Tzuyu leave. Elkie hugs Jackson close to her. The members hear Elkie saying I love You to Jackson. Dahyun returns to her room, the doctor told them that she can perform but needed to take a lot of water and eat well, and take the medicine that they gave her. Tzuyu has not return. Elkie is a little worried because the last time she needed time she return all bloody. The members are in the award shows getting ready, they are waiting for Tzuyu. Elkie and Jackson are in the VIP seats with Mina and Jin with the kids. The kids have earphones that block the sound.
