The rest of the week went by in a complete blur. Every day would blend into each other until the quickly, way too quickly in sunoo's opinion, approaching date was in just two hours.

The older had already pulled very clothing item he owned out of his closet, still not satisfied with his options

"JUNGWON I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO WEAR TO THIS STUPID FUCKING DATE WITH THIS STUPID FUCKING KID AND MY FAVORITE NECKLACE JUST BROKE AND I-"

Jungwon cut him off before the frustrated boy could continue his rant

"First off stop fucking yelling! Jay's asleep on my chest right now and you almost woke him up. Don't make me beat your ass before your date and have you showing up looking busted."

The cat-like boy whisper yelled into the phone, desperately trying not to wake up his sleeping boyfriend

"Plus, I thought you didn't care about the date anyways? You said and I quote, "I don't even care I'm just doing it for the sake of his grades because I'm a good person" and then called me a bitch. So why are you even worried about what to wear if it 'doesn't matter' anyways?"

He continued while running his fingers through jay's hair

"I DONT care, but I'd rather get trampled by a herd of wild horses with cow shit on their hooves than be caught dead in a bad outfit. My mental health isn't all that great so something HAS to make up for it."

Sunoo relentlessly searched through the mountain of clothes on his bed while spouting off to his best friend.

"Okay, okay, just wear some light wash jeans and a cute sweater. That pink one you got the last time we were shopping makes your waist look tiny and your eye bags a little lighter. Oh! And don't forget those gold rings you got from your sister for your birthday! Bye!"

Jungwon then quickly hung up, leaving the latter no time to respond and with a little bit of shock

"That stylish dickhead," Sunoo said to himself while gathering the outfit his (slightly irritating) best friend had decided he should wear

Time skip: An hour and a half later,
Niki POV:

The Japanese boy dialed his best friend, hoping for a little bit of advice, considering this was the first date he's ever been on where he was even remotely interested in his date, but instead of hearing jay's voice, he heard a beep followed by an automated voice telling him to 'leave a message at the tone'

"Aish~ probably cuddling with won" the taller said to himself, finishing with a frustrated sigh

"It's okay! You've got this! Just another date! You've been on plentyyy of those! No big deal right? haha.."

He gave himself a pep talk in the mirror but quickly trailed off after realizing it wasn't gonna be so easy to function around his small, (A.N maybe a little bigger than small) crush of almost two years

'Ah fuck it. Not like I can do anything besides get ready at the moment' the boy thought to himself before walking out into the living room, traumatized by what he walked in to

"AHHH OH MY FUCKING GOD WHAT ARE YOU DOING! YOURE SUPPOSED TO EAT FOOD ON THE COUNTER, NOT EACH OTHER! WHAT THE FUCK MOM?"

Niki screamed upon walking in on his 'parents' heated make out session on the kitchen counter, ( A.N. The kitchen and living room are connected btw)
covering his eyes and throwing a sandal to stop heeseung and Jake from continuing to eat each other

"Oh! Haha oops.." Heeseung said back, scratching the back of his head and letting out an awkward laugh, a little embarrassed of the position they were in in front of their 'son'

"The fuck you mean oops? Lee. Heesung. I know for a FACT, you could see that door! Why didn't you tell me that my child was walking in?"

Jake hit his lover on the arm and scolded him for not mentioning the door to Niki's room opening mid-make out session

"Well, you guys can continue whatever this is, because I will be leaving for a date right about, now." Niki said while motioning his hand in a circle and checking his watch to make sure he was gonna be on time to pick up sunoo

"I thought you were done dating?" Heesung and Jake asked at the same time, wearing a confused look on their still-Scarlett red faces

" I was, but remember that sunoo kid? Well I needed the notes from English because I fell asleep, please don't be mad, and I knew he had them so I offered to take him out tonight in exchange for the notes and he eventually agreed sooo yeah."

Niki told his 'parents' while putting on his jacket and grabbing his keys, heart beating rapidly out of nervousness for what the night has to bring

"Ohhh, okay. Be safe and I expect you home before 11. We're going to that cat cafe with jay and wonnie tomorrow morning and I don't want you to be tired." Jake said, pinching Niki's cheek and brushing a hair from Layla off of his jacket (he's gotta make his son look presentable 😌)

"Okay eomma. Love both of you!" The taller said to the couple, half way out of the door already

"Love you too Niki! Remember what I said" Jake replied, saying "love you" at the same time as his boyfriend and waving to his 'son'

Niki shut the door and lightly jogged to his car, starting up the engine and hopping in the drivers seat as fast as humanly possible

"Now that Niki left, why don't we start where we left off?" Heesung said while smirking and placing his hands on his darling's waist

"You know, I like how you think, love." The shorter replied, draping his arms on his boyfriends neck
