It had been a week since Robert and Waveni's first date and it was all she could think about. When she went out to lunch with Benji, when she was making dinner, when she was finishing up her album. She wasn't sure when the right time to release the album was considering all of the songs were about him. This ended up with Benji having to sit with her when she got ready for thier second date trying to reassure her that everything was going to be fine.

Waveni's voice was muffled as she rooted through her wardrobe trying to find something to wear, he said casual but what is casual when you're always overdressed? "What if he actually hates me and this is all a joke?"

Benji sighed as he spun in the chair that sat at the girl's vanity, "Have you seen the way he is with you? He's pretty much in love with you Veni!"

"But-"

"He gave you a nickname and he got mad when Eli called you it once, you facetimed eachother when it was snowing and pretended you spent the day together, he always asks how your mam is. Veni, he's basically in love with you, he'd be stupid not to be."

When she emerged from her wardrobe there was a wide smile on her face, "God Benji, don't go soft on me."

"Never, now show me what you're wearing."

"The arcade!" Waveni smiled as she looked up at the sign, her hand was holding Rob's just like it was when they had left her flat. "You told me that you loved it here once."

Waveni was standing in her kitchen, her phone leaning against the sugar pot as she made a cup of tea. Robert, who she was on facetime with, was doing the same. "I used to skip school and go to the arcade when i was in school. I haven't been since i was a teenager." He laughed as he poured the boiled water into his cup, "Maybe i'll take you someday."
