"Breakfast is ready!"
Trinity slowly slid out of the bed and stood up. "I'll be right there!" she replied to her mother. She looked over at her alarm on the desk near her bed. "6:30 am..." she mumbled to herself. Today was her first day of high school. She sighed, made her bed, and walked to the bathroom. She changed clothes and combed her hair. She looked into the mirror. The reflection was different than what she really looked like. In the mirror was Trinity, but she had black eyes with a little tint of red. She sighed. Trinity was 14. She had long black hair with bangs and was pretty tall for her age. She walked downstairs where she dined with her mom. "So...you excited?" her mom asked. Trinity nodded and for the rest of breakfast, the table was silent. Once she finished, she said bye to her mom and walked to the bus stop. The day didn't feel any different than any other one. She waited until she saw a man. He was watching her. He had a hoodie and mask over his face. He realized she was watching and looked away. "Wierdos..." she whispered.
A couple minute later, the bus arrived. She walked in. All the students were yelling at each other and laughing. Trinity smiled. "Today's a good day." she thought. She started to walk to her seat when someone pushed her, causing her to fall to the floor. All the kids laughed. Trinity was got up and dusted herself off. "Don't think that you can just sit anywhere. This whole middle area of the bus...is mine. Ya got all that? Or ya too dumb to understand?" Trinity looked over to see who was talking. It was a boy about her age.
(Trinity's POV)
Who does he think he is? Talking to me that way like he's some kind of hotshot. He sure does have a lot of confidence for his first day. Let's see if he can stand up to a girl... I grinned. "Oh yea? All right. I'll go by your rules...but I just have something I forgot to do..." He smirked as if he had just won the fight. I smiled kindly and in less than a second, I swung my fist right into his face. I think I hit him too hard but he deserved it. The punch pushed him right into the glass window, cracking it into pieces. He held onto his face and once he lifted up his hand I realized how much damage I had done. I stopped breathing for a moment, thinking about what I just did. His nose was twisted and a lot of blood was dripping out of his mouth. He tried to speak, but ended up gagging instead. He started to choke. All the students were screaming. The driver was calling 911. I thought that I had only punched him to just make a little damage to his nose...but this...why am I like this? Ever since I was little, I've had an abnormal strength. It was a curse. People used to praise me and say, "What you have isn't a curse...it's a gift!" Yea...right..if only you could see what's happening now. I fell back as everyone was trying to lay a hit on me. I looked at where I had broken the window...only to see something I didn't expect.
Out of the window was a boy. And...he was smiling at me. He was wearing a white mask and an orange hoodie. He was different than the one I saw this morning...For the first time in a long time...I was scared. He was actually scaring me. He seemed proud of me. I stared wide eyed at him and then I didn't see him anymore. "I'm probably just seeing things." I thought. I ran out of the bus as I saw the cop cars gathering near it. They would surely call my parents, and I didn't need that kind of drama today. I ran until my legs went numb. I probably lost them by now. So much for first day of school. I just got myself in trouble that was way out of my comfort zone. I checked out my surroundings. Great...I was in a forest. "Hi." I heard a voice and freaked out. I turned around to see the boy. He scared me so much that I fell to the ground on my butt. "Ow..." I mumbled. I looked up and he was gone. Ok...what was going on? There was the guy at the entrance and then this boy staring at me from the bus window... I heard some rustling, panicked, and ran to a lake in the middle of all the trees. It was still morning. I dipped my feet in the water for a moment. I was sitting quietly, admiring the scenery until I saw a man again. I saw static and somehow, I immediately knew it was coming from him. He had no face, a tux, and was really tall. I froze. All of my thoughts were driven away and I heard the static getting louder and drilling into my ears. I knew I couldn't sit there, so I got up and ran. It was still following me. I stopped. I could kill someone like him right? I turned to face him but he wasn't there. I shrugged and continued walking away from the lake. That's when I saw him again. Someone was with him. He was wearing a white hoodie and jeans, while holding a bloody kitchen knife as if he had had his morning kill. He had black hair and I couldn't really see from where I was but his face didn't seem normal. As though it was bleached. Something about his eyes and mouth too...I ran. "I need to keep running. It isn't safe in this forest. I needed to get out of here." These thoughts were overwhelming me. I was so caught up that I didn't realize who was in front of me and crashed into him. I fell and looked up at him. I screamed. It was the man with the knife. He grinned. I froze. I couldn't... I couldn't move...But for some reason...for some reason I felt like I knew this guy. And when I look at him the first word that comes to mind is...Jeff.
