Chapter 5: An Accident..?

Your POV

I woke real early this morning, so my brother can unlock the gym. I yawned many times because I slept at 12 am last night just to finish my sketch. I pack my bag like sketchbook and my pencil case. Yep, I would never forget my water bottle too because I can't live without it.

I was about to finish doing my hair suddenly, I hear a knock on my door. "I bet it's onii-chan..." I muttered and I was correct. "Ellie, hurry mum finished making breakfast." He remind me. "Okay, onii-chan!" I replied and finished doing my hair.

I grabbed my ribbon and clip it behind my hair and grabbed my headphone. "Ah! Almost forgot my bagpack!" I grabbed my bagpack and my phone. Then, I ran downstairs to join my brother to have breakfast.

We were early, so I just draw randomly on my sketchbook. Suddenly, I felt a person behind me. I looked back to see my brother bending down to the height I'm sitting. "Gahh!!" I fell off the bench. "Onii-chan! W-why did you have to do that??" I asked angrily. 

He just laughed. "Sorry, I scared you. Good thing you don't cursed." He lowered his voice. I tilted my head. "What did you say?" I asked. "Oh, nothing. By the way are you okay there?" "I'm okay, I'm used to it." I said grabbing my sketchbook that is right beside me.

Then, I hear a door opened I looked to see Kiyoko-senpai and behind her are Tsukishima and Yamaguchi. I smiled at her and she smiled back. I knew her because of my brother too but mostly he always talk about this one girl named Yui Michimiya. I think he has a crush on her. Too bad, I have never see her in person...

"Hi there, Ellie. Zoning out I see." I looked up and saw Kiyoko-senpai looking at me. "Oh, umm... Yeah I was thinking about something." I laughed awkardly. "Hm.. why don't you help me with something? I could use some help." I nodded and followed her behind.

Then, I saw Tsukishima looking at me. Well, that was weird... I could feel my cheeks are warm. 'No, I can't!' I thought.

A few minutes of waiting, finally all the members came. Hinata is running up to me with his usual bright smile. "Ellie-san! You're here too?" I just smiled at him. "Oi, Boke! We need to get ready!" Kageyama pulled him away. I just laughed at them.

My brother joined too but Suga had to stay behind because it's a 3 vs 3. I pulled out my sketchbook and draw the whole match. At the same thime, I focused on Hinata and Kageyama. They are a great duo. I hope they get along though...

I also pulled out my headphone too. I do glanced a bit at Tsukishima I admit his blocks are crazy. I mean he is tall, so of course he can block them all in seconds but Hinata's crazy jump shocked me. He can jump! He's really cool!

Suddenly, I hear someone shouted my name. I looked up. "No! Ellie!! Watch out!!" Suddenly, a ball is heading to me and the minute I knew it. I passed out.

Then, I opened my eyes to see Tsukishima is in front of me smiling but it's not a sarcastic or arrogant one. It's a true smile. My eyes widened. He just looked at me and I looked at him. I looked down I saw that we were holding hands. My heart skipped a heart. Soon, there is a white flash.

Minutes before the accident.

Tsukishima's POV

I am really focused on the match. Even though it's not a real one. I took a glance on Ellie. She is drawing while wearing headphones. I guess she likes music too. Back onto the match, I blocked the shrimp's spike but the ball bounced to different direction. It's a bad one.. It's heading to Ellie!

Our captain shouted her name. Somehow, she can hear while had her headphones on but that's not the case. She looked up but it was too late. The ball hit right at her face. I ran to her and noticed that she passed out.

Present

Your POV

I opened my eyes again and the first thing I saw is Tsukishima. My heart is beating so fast right now but I see his face is not a cold one but a worried face.

Then, I heard someone screamed. "Yes!! Ellie-chan is alive!!" The one and only Tanaka... "Don't screamed you idiot! She just woke up!" Suga said and karate chop Tanaka's head.

"Ellie, are you okay??" I tried to sit straight but my head feels dizzy and my eyes are still half open. "It's okay, Ellie. You can lay down and have a rest." My brother said with a worried face but I forced myself to stand up. Suddenly, I lost my balance but someone caught me just in time.

"You idiot, you shouldn't stand up. It will make your condition worst." He lay me down. My brother put his jacket under my head, so I can be comfortable. "Your face is pale, Ellie. You should rest for now." My brother said to me. Moments later, I fell asleep.

Daichi's POV

Good, Ellie is now sleeping. Her face is still pale. I hope she's okay. I looked at everyone and they all looked worried. I looked at Tsukishima and he looked worried too.I realised he has a tint of blush on his face. Wait, is he blushing?? Ellie is not ready to have a boyfriend yet but if his good then, I'm fine with it.

I stared at him. Suddenly, he noticed me. So I decided to make a distraction. "Okay, everyone! Back onto the match! Don't worry, Ellie is resting." I shouted to my teamates.

Tsukishima POV

I noticed that Daichi was staring at me earlier. Weird... Then, I had to go back to the court to have an another match.

I took a second to glance at Ellie. She is sleeping. I wonder what she is dreaming about? Wait what am I thinking?? "Tsukki, hurry! We want to start now!" Yamaguchi called me. I ran to his side and telling him something.

"We need to be careful." I told him. He looked at me with a confused face. "You have never acted like this before, Tsukki.." He raised his eyebrow. Then, we look at the front to focus.
