First and foremost, this is a sequel to a sequel to a sequel that turned into a bad porno. It's a fully bastardized, re-imagining of the Heartstopper books/show.

I have reset the story in America, as I am American. They will go American things in American places because that's the experience I am drawing on. It's how this played out in my imagination, my apologies for being stereotypically American.

I may not need to say this, but this is NSFW and for 18+ readers. DO NOT MAKE THIS MORE WEIRD THAN IT ALREADY IS. I have aged every character into post-college adulthood. This material is unsuitable for children.

I am toying with cross-over parts with other television and book characters. I'll keep it clean and simple for now, but who know! Maybe theirs a Red, White, and Royal Blue x Heartstopper x Love, Simon x Boyfriend Material x Conventionally Yours x [insert more titles here] orgy in the future. We will see how my writing skills progress. Beyond these silly ideas and

Of course, there are glaring differences between my story beyond the place and age of the characters. Evident from the cover. It might be controversial to many people, but the characters are truly only similar in their names and physical features. This is a(n) (over) sexualized version of the sweet, hetero-romantic idealism of the books and show. Fully intended for the kinsey 4-6 men who want to read a little bit of smut and for the more-than-casual other that enjoys a little man-on-man action. Innapropriate, sure. Reclamation and manipulation of homosexual romance, maybe.

In my opinion (for the people in the back...in MY opinion), I am exhausted of seeing gay teen romance written by and for straight, white women. Yeah, it's sweet and it makes you feel many feelings in the moment, but homosexual and bisexual (and more so, trans and queer) identities are not meant to fit the same romantic aesthetic or values of heterosexuality. It's deep and tied inextricably to our body's and our sex.

This is both a flirty and sexy fantasy and a protest to the hetero-normalization of queer love stories. These ideas can coexist just like straight and queer love.

Another (and maybe the most) controversial thing I am doing in this: I have recast some, well most, of the characters. Some will be your type and some won't be. This is mostly for me, so Shawn Mendes (at least, the body of) is going to be stepping into the role of Charlie. I adore Joe, I think he is beautiful and sweet and kind and smart and funny and all of the perfect things that I want in a teen romance character, but not necessarily a sex scene. His innocence is a little to present and, while, the second season has him play with sexual feeling, I just can't separate my big brother feelings for him. Choosing Shawn Mendes, was a mostly political one. Most gay men love Shawn Mendes. Everyone has an opinion on him and, like Charlie, he is a musician. Whether he is in the closet or not, whether you find him attractive or not, whether you believe he is right for the character or not, I think his persona fits what I am looking for in a Charlie and he is as sexual as he is kind. It works for me.

Kit, on the other hand was the reason I started to watch the show. My overtly sexual feelings about his person were turned into a much more complicated mess of sexual and romantic feelings. His characterization is incredibly moving in a way that I didn't expect. However, I still visualized him as an adult, unlike Joe. I know they have expressed their disinterest in being sexualized, but I don't expect this story to make its way to Kit any time soon. This isn't about the person, it's the persona and character.

Finally, I hope that you enjoy this. I have toyed with the idea of writing a long-form piece for a while. I toyed with the idea of horror writing, and biographical writing, or something in between. But it never seemed to spark my interest. Smut, on the other hand, has been a release so far. I have enjoyed finding new ways to describe love and sexual feelings. I have thoroughly enjoyed what I have written for this book so far and I am undoubtably going to continue. The process is slow and will be slow, but I will continue to grow and write for who ever wants to read.

Updates:
I will post updates on my writing and ideas here. Please feel free to comment or message about wants or needs in this story and I will respond here.

As of  today August 12, 2023, I have not finished part one. I am developing my initial re-ignition of Charlie and Nick's relationship. They have spent some time away from each other at different colleges, pursuing different things. They broke up early in their collegiate lives, but those feelings and needs never really went away. As you'll see, there's a lot of time and sex to make up for.

August 14, 2024: I would say, I am half way through my first chapter. Charlie and I are working through some trauma together and we both need a minute to get it all out before we let Nick fuck Charlie's throat. I suspect I'll have the first two chapters out in the next week or so. 💛
