~Angel Wings~ (Eri's big sister AU)

Chapter 1

Yami was sitting in an empty room, in pain, but not wanting to worry her 6 year old little sister, Eri. Blood dripped from her back, but she kept her back faced away as she watched over Eri as she played with Yami's black halo and drew inside it, which is something she normally let her do when they didn't have anything else to do. She had her back facing the wall so that Eri couldn't see the blood dripping from her back.

Deku and Lemillion were searching the area and eventually stumbled into the room, as soon as Eri spotted them she ran over to them, "Mr Lemillion! Mr Deku!" Eri hugged them both around the waist.

Yami quickly got up from where she was and rushed over to Eri and pulled her away, wrapping her big, soft, black wings around Eri protectively and picked her up with her arms and held her close to her chest. Her wings were huge compared to her size. Eri still had the pitch black halo in her hands. She turned her back to them and held Eri facing away from them. She looked back and protectively glared at the two of them as she kept a protective grip on her little sister. They could see her flinch in pain as she made such a quick movement, and blood on her back between the two wings, in a way that seemed like someone has cut her across her back recently. She had an open back shirt so that her wings could spread, and the cut was very visible on her pale skin.

Eri looks at Yami and tries to get down from Yami's grip but Yami doesn't want to let her go "Lemillion, why is Yami bleeding and why is her back..." "Shush Eri don't look" Lemillion shushed Eri.

Yami silently tightened the grip of her wings slightly, flinching in pain as she does so, but her grip tight enough to cause any discomfort for Eri. She kept the protective glare on Lemillion and Deku, and glared at Lemillion a little more when he shushed Eri.

Eri looks at Yami and tries to get down again but Yami doesn't listen

"Yami, please... We're not gonna hurt you or Eri" Deku told her, trying to sound reassuring.

Yami still doesn't budge. Her back continued to bleed, and her scars and cuts were visible, with a new cut that seemed recent, nearly hitting both of her black wings, and it was dripping with blood. Every time Eri tried to get down, she just made it harder for her to succeed. It was clear in the glare from her blue eye that she didn't trust the two heroes. Her bangs covered her black colored eye and almost half her face, but at Eri's angle, she could see the glare in that eye as well.

Deku sighed, "Do you trust me that I won't harm you or Eri?" Lemillion looks at Yami and Eri and sighed as well, "Yami, please let Eri go, we're here to help"

Yami sighed and set Eri back down on the ground in front of her, but kept her wing rested over Eri's shoulder. Her wings were so big that when she relaxed them, they started to drape behind her. Yami made sure to keep Eri in front of her instead of behind, so that she wouldn't see her cut, bruised, bleeding, wounded back, something that she shouldn't see at her young age.

Lemillion looked at Eri and smiled as he kneeled down to her level, "Hi Eri" Lemillion looked over to Yami and saw her bruises "Oh my god... Are you okay???" Eri turned around to Yami and starts to try to look at her back. "Sister, what's on your back?"

Yami urgently covered Eri's face with her wing before she could see her back. She didn't want her to see something like that, that wasn't something someone her age should see. She looked up at Lemillion and Deku, hoping they could help keep Eri from seeing her back, but she didn't say anything. She couldn't. Instead, she glanced at Eri, and then back up at them, signaling them to help stop her from seeing her back.

Lemillion places both of his hands on Eri's face and pushes her back "Don't look at her back Eri"

"But I want to know what happened to her!" Eri said while trying to get a glimpse at her back. "You'll see when you get older" Lemillion told her as he picked her up and kept her out of sight of her back. Yami sighed in relief.
