The afternoon sun shines through the infirmary of Beacon Academy. The light shines onto an unconscious Yama as he's hooked up to several devices. An IV, a heart rate monitor and a machine that'll allow his aura to recover faster, but his aura wasn't coming back, as if something was preventing it.
A nurse walks by Yama's bed and checks him over, before writing on a clipboard. Suddenly a loud bang echoes through the infirmary and the nurse nearly drops her clipboard.
"WHERE'S THE DUMBASS AT?!" Lapis' voice is heard.
"L-L-Lapis please calm down." Olivia's worried voice is heard.
"Yes, please, people are trying to get rest to recover." Wisteria's voice is heard.
The nurse sighs as she sets the clipboard in a slot at the end of Yama's bed.
Yama's team make their way over to where Yama is, the nurse yelps as Lapis forcefully moves her out of the way.
"Sorry." Olivia apologizes for her teammates behavior.
"What the fuck happened to him?!" Lapis yells as she notices his hand, chest and left cheek covered in bandages.
"He looks horrible." Wisteria states. "He shouldn't be like this, he's strong and I know it."
Olivia grows worried. "Oh, what if what got him, gets us n-n-n-next." She panics, but calms down when Wisteria puts a hand on her shoulder.
Ozpin walks up behind the three girls. "We don't know everything yet, but what we can tell you is that something is preventing his aura from recovering. Which is leading him to not wake up."
Ozpin sips his hot chocolate and walks up beside Yama's bed. "Though after several scans of his body, we found something in his head. We're not sure what it is yet."
A doctor walks in as he puts a pair of gloves on then a mask. "Ozpin." he greets with a nod and Ozpin nods back.
The doctor walks up to Yama and grabs a small flashlight and opens one of Yama's eyes. He then shines the light down onto Yama's violet eyes and sees a flash of red.
The doctor hums, before looking back to the nurse. "Momo, bring me the portable scanner, please."
Nurse Momo nods and walks off to the side.
"What could it be Doctor?" Olivia asks.
"I'm not sure, the head scans are all blurry and spotty on a singular spot on his head." The Doctor informs.
Nurse Momo walks back with a weird looking device in hand and she gives it to the Doctor.
"Thank you." The Doctor says and Nurse Momo nods and steps back.
The Doctor turns on the scanner and it makes a high pitched beeping noise. Then he brings it over Yama's head for a few seconds before something appears on screen. "By the Brothers." The doctor pales a little.
"What in the world is that?!" Lapis shouts.
Moving around in Jack's brain is a weird looking worm grimm.
