Eric's POV
I found myself in the Land of Eternals, surrounded by majestic angels with their radiant wings. They always had a way of calling me over when I least expected it. I wasn't in the mood for their teleportation antics today. I had a mission to focus on—convincing Alora and Fiorella to join my team of vampires.
With a stern expression on my face, I approached the angels, making sure they knew I meant business. "Listen up, celestial beings," I declared, crossing my arms. "I've got a mission to complete, and I won't be at your beck and call anymore. No more teleportation tricks to distract me."
The angels looked at me with surprise and curiosity. They weren't used to being told off by a vampire. But I had a point to prove, and I wasn't going to let them interfere anymore.
As I turned to leave, Alaric, suddenly materialized out of thin air. He must have overheard the conversation and saw an opportunity to tag along. I groaned inwardly, already annoyed by his presence.
"Hey, Eric, mind if I come with you on this vacation?" Alaric asked, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
I rolled my eyes dramatically, unable to hide my irritation. "Seriously, Alaric? This is supposed to be a family vacation with my soon-to-be step-sisters, not a buddy trip."
He smirked, enjoying the rise he was getting out of me. "Aw, come on, Eric! Just tell them I'm your friend or something. It'll be fun, I promise."
I let out an exasperated sigh, realizing that I was about to be stuck with him whether I liked it or not. "Fine," I grumbled, reluctantly agreeing. "But you better keep your mouth shut about that incident in the building. Remember the rules, Alaric."
A mischievous grin played on his lips as he replied, "Hmm, I'll think about it."
I shot him a skeptical look, knowing I couldn't trust him an inch. "You better think hard, Alaric. If you spill the beans, things will get messy."
With that, we embarked on our supposed family vacation, with Alora and Fiorella blissfully unaware of the secrets we harbored. I couldn't help but feel a twinge of excitement, especially since I had my eye on Fiorella. She had this captivating aura about her that intrigued me.
Curiosity getting the better of me, I turned to Alaric and asked, "Why do you even want to come along anyway? There must be a reason."
Alaric shrugged nonchalantly, feigning innocence. "No specific reason, Eric. I just want to make friends, that's all," he replied, his tone dripping with a hint of mischief.
I raised an eyebrow, finding his answer suspiciously vague. "Alright, whatever," I muttered, shrugging off the oddness of his response.
Alora's POV
I was in my room, throwing clothes into my suitcase with wild abandon. Japan, here we come! Fiorella was doing the same in her room, and the excitement was practically buzzing in the air.
Just as I was contemplating which cute outfits to bring, the door swung open, and in strolled Eric, followed by a guy I'd never seen before. I arched an eyebrow, wondering who this stranger was.
"Hey, Alora!" Eric greeted, a mischievous grin on his face. "Meet my buddy, Alaric. He's joining us on our awesome Japan adventure!"
I paused, sizing up the guy beside him with curiosity. He had a devilish smirk that gave off a playful vibe. "Nice to meet you, Alaric," I said, extending my hand for a handshake.
Alaric shook my hand enthusiastically and nodded.
Alaric's eyes, they were a mesmerizing shade of green, unlike any I had ever seen. There was something about the way he looked at me, as if his eyes held a hidden world, inviting me to explore it.
Although his smile was friendly, his gaze held a certain intensity that made me feel like I was being drawn into something deeper. It was as if he had a way of seeing beyond the surface, as if he could perceive things about me that others couldn't.
Fiorella poked her head out of her room, eyeing Alaric with interest. "Who's this ?" she asked.
Eric chuckled and draped an arm around Alaric's shoulders. "Fiorella, meet my friend Alaric. He's got a knack for adventure and mischief, just like us. Thought it'd be cool to have him along."
I grinned, "Well, the more, the merrier!" I declared, throwing a pair of sunglasses into my bag. "Japan won't know what hit it!"
Fiorella nodded in agreement, a mischievous sparkle in her eyes. "Let's make this the wildest vacation ever!"
I chuckled, zipping up my bag and joining the conversation. "So, what's the deal with Alaric? Is he crashing our family vacation?"
Eric rolled his eyes dramatically, a hint of annoyance in his voice. "Unfortunately, yes. He somehow managed to convince me to let him tag along."
Alaric grinned, wiggling his eyebrows. "Hey, what can I say? I couldn't resist the allure of a Japan adventure with you. Eric had been talking about both of you, and I realized I was developing an interest in meeting you...and Fiorella of course." Eric glared at him but he had something about him that attracted me towards him. He wasn't overly excited for the trip but somehow managed to keep the face of 'yes I'm excited'.
Fiorella nudged me with her elbow, a mischievous glimmer in her eyes. "Looks like someone has a crush," she whispered, barely containing her laughter.
I elbowed her back, smirking. I whispered, "Oh, totally. Alaric's just dying to spend more time with you, Fiorella."
Alaric feigned offense, placing a hand over his heart. "Oh, my lord, no! It's you who has taken my heart, Luchik" Luchik? What the hell does that mean
Alaric, whatever your last name may be, I think I've taken an interest in you now. The more I get to know you, the more I want to know
Eric chimed in, shaking his head in amusement. "Alright, enough, you two. We've got a plane to catch, and trust me, this vacation is going to be legendary."
As we continued packing our bags, laughter filled the room. I couldn't wait to explore the vibrant streets of Tokyo, indulge in delicious sushi, and dive headfirst into the cultural wonders of Japan.
