Living in a flat by yourself and paying rent through the same part-time jobs you do is a huge task. I have been doing this for the past year and I have gotten a hang of it.

I have been in Mumbai since the time I was 3 years old. But I had to move out seeing that my university is really far from my house.

I'm YN YLN-a 19-year-old cinematography student. I lead a normal life, but I really have 3 unique weird-ass friends and I met them all on my first day of college.

Arya Jha. We call her AJ. She studies in the same department as me, and we have been close ever since we met.

Ishan Kishan. Honestly, I'm glad I met this dude. My day gets better every time he does something idiotic.

And finally. Shubman Gill. Girls swoon over him because of his looks. Boys try to pull him into their gang for popularity. But that guy decided to stick with us. He is really good-looking. So is Ishan. But if I say anything about him, Arya gets angry because she likes him.

I got into my car before driving towards the college. It was a 20-minute drive. The roads were filled with vehicles seeing that it was 8:30 a.m. in Mumbai. Mumbai means heavy traffic.

Upon reaching the college, I got out before plugging in my headphones to listen to songs.

I usually do this because I don't wanna hear being cat called by the boys of other departments.
It's really annoying. As usual I go to the sports field first when upon entering the campus, or else Ishan will murder me.

"YN! How many times am I supposed to yell your name?" Ishan exclaimed placing his hand on my shoulder making me remove my headphones.

"Damn, sorry man. The volume was high," I apologized. "Was it Taylor Swift again?" he smiled as I nodded.

"You wanna plan an over?" he asked. "I'm not sure dude," I answered. "Come on, it'll be fun!" he insisted pulling me along.

"Okay," I agreed before I kept my bag on the chairs next to Ishan's. "Catch," Ishan yelled throwing his bat to me. "Let's go," I laughed before taking my position at the strike place.

Ishan bowled the first ball and I had to literally bend backwards because of how he threw the ball.

"What the hell Ishan?" We heard a voice making us turn. "Sorry guys," Ishan apologized as I turned to see Shubman with his bag swung over his left shoulder and hands on his hips.

"Wassup mate" I spoke giving him a high-five as he returned one. "Mujhe high five kaun degha? Thera baap?" Ishan asked throwing his hands in the air as I and Shubman stared at him.

"Thu teek tho hai na?" I asked as he nodded. "Yeah, sorry it came in a flow," he answered as I sighed.

"I have arrived!" Arya exclaimed jumping onto Ishans back making us laugh.

"Let's go to class, come on" I spoke as everyone agreed. "Acha we'll see you 2 at break," Shubman spoke as we all nodded in agreement before going in the opposite directions.

I actually met Shubman at the fresher's party. It was really crowded room and he bumped into me and ended up spilling his drink on my dress.

Walking around the room trying to get to know everyone in a crowded room is tough. All departments were present, and it was a really loud party.

Adjusting the leather jacket I wore, I somehow walked through the crowd just to feel a wetness on the chest area. my eyes met a pair of chocolate brown eyes, and I recognized it to be a male.

"I am so so sorry. I didn't mean to spill it," the boy ranted apologizing. "It's alright. It was a mistake," I answered trying to wipe it off with the tissues I found.

"Ugh let me help. Come on," he spoke pulling me along to the bathroom. "I guess if you apply water and then try, it might go," he suggested. "Yeah that sounds like a good idea," I answered before doing the same.

"Some of it is gone. I could just remove the rest at my place. You know, using the washing machine," I shrugged.

He hummed in response. "By the way, I'm Shubman," he introduced himself extending his arm. "I'm YN," I smiled shaking his hand.

"Which department have you joined?" I asked as we came back to the hall and sat on the couch, as people danced around.

"Journalism. You?" He asked. "Cinematography," I smiled.
"Nice," he smiled.

"Guys it's time to get going! Thank you for joining us!" The host dude exclaimed as everyone cheered before beginning to disperse.

"So we friends?" He asked as I nodded. "Of course," I smiled before getting up.

"I have to get going, I'll see you tomorrow," I smiled as he returned one.

After exchanging numbers and bidding goodbye we parted ways.

Meeting him was one of the best things honestly.
