Maisie Taylor was admiring the view of what she hoped she could now call her home. After a hectic start to her life, she was hoping that this would be her new fresh start.
It was a busy day, very busy. In fact, one of Bondi Beaches busiest for the year. With her coming almost everyday since moving to here, she has found herself her own little acquaint spot in which she is situated again. The waves crashing over her feet as they dangled over the water. From a quick glimpse of the kilometre stretch of sand, a group of boys wearing light blue shorts were running around everywhere, the lifeguards. With it being so busy, she found herself glimpsing at one in particular at the south end of the beach. Still, she couldn't believe the danger others put themselves in.

'Oh my God!' 'Call someone, is he okay!?'
Maisie shot up hearing all the commotion coming from behind her and it led her to a ring of people surrounded by a young boy, must be a child. He looked limp and the few years of paramedic training set in.
"Move out the way!" She instantly yelled, assessing the situation.
Getting down low next to the boy, a worried Canadian father came rushing out screaming out to no-one in particular.
"I'm trained to be a paramedic, I can help him," Speaking up towards the father again whilst simultaneously starting cpr after checking for if he's breathing or a pulse.
She remained calm, remembering that's the most important thing to do in situations like this. Stopping cpr every twenty pushes to do a few rescue breaths.
Normally she is nervous in the eye of the public but this was different, life or death always comes first, the patients needs before hers.
Suddenly spouting out of the boys mouth was a large amount of water. "Help me turn him on his side!"
He was swiftly turned onto his side allowing all the steady stream of saltwater to be expelled from his body.
Finally stopping, he was laying back on his back yet still was slightly blue though breathing and with a pulse. It was heavy raspy breathing and a weak pulse. Maisie knew the quickest way to get help would be to go to the lifeguards.
"Can you run and carry him, I'll stay with you the whole way but he needs to be at the lifeguard tower now."
The man nodded quickly picking up his almost lifeless child, he ran quickly behind Maisie as if nothing mattered more to him than the child who was caught so close to death.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
Deano perked up knowing exactly what that kind of knock it was. He was lucky to have Maxi in the tower now meaning he could swiftly rush down. The adrenaline quickly running through him, thinking of all the scenarios that could be playing out.
The walk felt like it took forever, just them few steps.
Blood rushed away from his face when he saw a nearly blue boy. He ushered them in calling Maxi over and grabbing the defib. He was laid on the bed and Maxi popped his head over also quickly rushing down assessing the situation before realising an ambulance might be handy.
"Has anyone called an ambo?" Maxi questioned. Shooken heads gave him the answer and he rushed back up.
"No and he's been resuscitated. He wasn't breathing and now has severe dyspnea: I'd recommend some oxygen. I did CPR due to feeling no pulse, therefore leaving me to believe he was asystolic." Maisie said remembering her actions.
