He was running through the aisles, with his heart beating furiously in his chest. "Project 2516...2516", he muttered absent-mindedly. He came to a stop at the end of a long row of files stacked on top of one another and came to a steel door with a keypad. On the door hung a sign.

        TOP SECRET PROJECTS (2500-2517)

The man breathed a huge sigh of relief which was short-lived as he heard the banging of a door far behind in the distance. "Must hurry...,must be quick..," he mumbled as he entered the passcode (100911). The door hissed open and he ran inside. He had entered a room which he had only heard about in workplace gossip. Not many even knew it existed to begin with. "A tale told to keep you on your toes" was what the janitor had to say about it. But the man now knew that what he had guessed over the last year was indeed true. Humans couldn't be trusted, after all. Behind him the man heard a loud bang on the door he had just entered through.

The enemy is near, he thought. He resumed his searching, confident that it would take at least a few minutes before he would be caught, giving him just enough time to escape.
"2516...2516,Ah! There it is!", he whispered excitedly as he came to a box numbered 2516, in between boxes 2515 and 2517, right at the very end of the room. He quickly opened the box, almost tearing it open in his excitement, a wide grin on his face.
The grin lasted barely for a fraction of a second because as soon as he opened the box, he found it to be empty. The man screamed, tore at his hair and punched the wall in anger.
Behind him he heard the familiar hiss of the door opening and saw another man run towards him with a gun pointed straight at his face. That was the last thing his eyes ever saw.
