I left the box on my bedside table and as I went to put on my black tights and black skirt and when I came back to get my red and black stripped tie, I went to get the ring out of the box and my glasses but the box was gone!! I suffered badly from panic attacks I can't speak in front of people and I was having one!! That ring was the only thing I had left of my mother.
Finally the door knocks it's my best friends and there boyfriends Emily and Jordan and Ka with Gavin with my boyfriend Alfie, Ka asks to see the ring and then it clicks I had put it on the fire place so I could show Ka, the way she described the ring was beautiful she said "its like a dark and mysterious woman, bulletproof but showing all her wounds" the way that Ka spoke reminds me of my mother, she speaks with integrity and confidence but she is like a party popper you just have to wait for her to explode to see what she is like inside. Emily the type of person that if you don't fully understand her story you never will get her because she is this Smart beautiful girl who has many stories to say, she panics when I know she will do great I just wish she could understand how perfect she is. Alfie goes to the toilet but when he comes back he tries to break the silence, he grabs me from behind and drags me back, he is so romantic he picked me up "be careful I just got my skirt tightened I don't want it ripped" I scream, he twirls me round to kiss me on the cheek. Melanie shows up in her new car.
"Shot gun the front" Alfie shouts, I shout "no I always have the front" Melanie is my best friend she knows everything from when my period starts and when it ends, she was with me when we found my mother, and she knows my foods I like, love , hate, dislike and can always come round to comfort me with smoothies and her home baked treats!! She is the one person I can rely on, we leave for school and Alfie gets the aux cord and blasts his music, "it's way to early for that" I scream at him unplugging the cord!! "I can't believe that it's been....." "Please don't say it Melanie, not today"
