i heard a knock on the door and i rushed to go get it, i opened the door wide knowing who it was.

"hey little sis" the person who i love most smiled

"adriana!" i exclaim, adriana had a brown box in her hands. She walked it and i offered to hold the box
"what did you get?" i ask

"just a little something for my sister" she takes off her shoes

adriana and i haven't been close in awhile, ever since the "incident" and us entering in the modeling industry we haven't had any time together, which made us grow farther apart. We didn't talk for days, weeks, months, and probably a year.

i had nothing against my sister, i loved her. She protected me from everything, but something inside me wished she reached out first.

"you didn't have to adriana" i smile as i walk into the kitchen opening up what she got me, it was a beautiful cake.
"adriana, i can't eat this! i have a photoshoot soon" i groan

"it's okay, just eat it. You're human" she smiles hugging me
"i missed you" she whispers

"i missed you too" i hug her, and we let silence fall over us for awhile as we hug eachother

"elena, im sorry i didnt text or call." she let's go and i met her gaze and she has sorrow in her eyes

"i'm sorry aswell." she hug her again

i woke up the next morning on the couch with adriana we were both snuggled up with a blanket with the tv still on, i got up and turned off the tv.

I got up and brushed my teeth and did my skincare, i went downstairs and adriana was still asleep, i texted gavi.

i texted him, he was probably asleep.

i decided to order breakfast online before adriana woke up.

i looked over the couch and adriana was still asleep, the food was gonna come anytime soon so i shook her gently.

"adriana!" i whispered shaking her

"mmm?" he groans with her eyes shut

"wake up! it's already 10!" i say helping sit up.

she rubs her eyes and yawns

"what for breakfast?" she asks

"i ordered breakfast, now get up and get ready." i get up

the food came and adriana was still in the bathroom, i plated the food on plates and sat down waiting for her, i looked down at my phone and there was no reply from gavi. Is he okay?

i called him and it rung a few times but no answer, i was puzzled and didn't know what was going on.

"the food smells delicious!" adriana says coming down the stairs and walking into the kitchen

"yea..." i say

"what's wrong?" she asks sitting down

"nothing, it's just gavi won't answer and i'm pretty sure he landed already."

"i'm sure he's just tired." she smiles and starts to eat

"i hope so" i mumble
