The sound of camera shutters filled Min hyuk's ears the moment the gates to the penitentiary were open. he forced his way through the crowd of reporters who were asking him tons of questions.

"Mr Kang.... is it true that you didn't kill Mr &Mrs Lee... how does it feel to be finally free from accusation...are you really innocent....do you have an idea of who actually killed them" the reporters asked all at once. Min hyuk just managed to get into the back seat of a black car parked at the not too far end of the penitentiary walls. the female driver immediately stepped on the accelerator and zoomed off leaving a trail of reporters.

"whoa... oppa, you really made it big. a ton of reporters are lined up just to get a shot of your face." the driver said looking at Min hyuk through the driver's mirror.

"hey, Kang Hye jin...is that the first thing you say to your brother after seven years....you are such a spoiled brat." the last part of his statement was accompanied by a knock on hye jin's head.

"oppa..."Hye Jin cried out keeping one hand on her head and the other on the steering wheel. he watched her pout and smiled slightly. he then sighed and looked out the window with a look the window with with a look no one could actually understand.

                                                                        ****************

"the public is in uproar as the suspect from the murder case of chairman Lee Do Jae and his wife Park Yeon Ok was finally released from prison after seven years due to lack of substantial evidence....reports say that the accused Mr kang who was arrested and convicted seven years ago was released today at exactly three pm due to lack of substantial evidence to give him the proper sentence..."the anchorwoman's voice trailed off as Da  Hee tuned down the television and set the remote down on the table.

she was wearing expensive jewelry and a 24 karat diamond was sitting on her ring finger. she sat on the sofa cross legged and held a cup of wine in her hand.

" he's finally out... Min Hyuk is out" she muttered to herself. she was soon jerked out of her thoughts by the sound of her seven year old son coming into the living room. she immediately stood up and went over to him. she bent down to match his eight and held him by the shoulders.

"my little prince is finally awake" the boy rubbed his sleepy eyes and leaned on Da Hee. she smiled and carried him in her arms heading towards the sofa.

"mommy...I'm hungry, I want ice cream "he said rubbing his sleepy eyes again.Da Hee called for her son's nanny and the middle aged woman cam out of one of the rooms.

"please draw a bath for Min Ho....and don't bother to make lunch, we will be having lunch out" the nanny stroke housekeeper bowed slightly and left the room. Da Hee turned to Min Ho and ruffled his hair smiling brightly.

                                                                   *******************

Hye Jin's car pulled into the alley their house was in and parked right in front of a rusty old gate. Min Hyuk was the first to get out of the back seat and go into the house.

"Luckily, there are no reporters here.... seems like they were not smart enough to get our home address." Hye Jin said following after him and shutting the gate behind her. she watched Min Hyuk pause to breathe in some homely air from behind and went ahead to unlock the door.

"are you going to stand there or come in and wash up" she asked almost yelling. Min hyuk suddenly turned and started walking towards her.

"when did you become this rude.... is that any way to speak to your older brother" he said hitting her on her forehead.

Hye Jin cried out placing her palm on her forehead " when i had to live by myself for seven years without parents or a brother...that's when.... I cleaned up your room and got new bedding so freshen up while i get something for us to eat" the look on Min Hyuk's face had become different and unreadable again as he watched his sister walk past him and towards the gate. he also turned and was about to go in when Hye Jin called out " Oppa ....I missed you. I'm really glad you are back home"

min hyuk smiled gently and replied saying" I missed you too" Hye Jin chuckled and went out of the gate while Min Hyuk entered the house. he went to his room and saw that the room was neatly arranged with his things the way he left them that night seven years ago when he rushed out of the house....and never came back.

He sat on the bed and remembered how the police had barged in on him all stained in blood with two corpses stabbed all over lying on the floor beside him. he held his face in his palms and fought back his tears. he then breathed in and out heavily and stood up to wash up before Hye Jin got back.

                                                                    ********************

Da Hee stood up calmly when her husband walked in with his personal secretary following behind him with his briefcase. she went over to him and helped him take off his jacket. "welcome...how was work today" she said without a change in her expression.

"all good...is Min Ho asleep" Do Hyun asked heading to the study. Da Hee nodded and took the brief case from the secretary who was waiting patiently. Do Hyun turned to him and handed him an envelope. the secretary took it from him and bowed slightly turning to leave.

"secretary Ahn.... dont forget to give that list back to me first thing in the morning..... you may go" Mr Ahn  bowed again and left.

" i assume you saw the news today" Do Hyun said as they entered the study. "how do you feel about the fact that Min Hyuk is finally out" he added looking at Da Hee intently. Da Hee rolled her eyes and set them on him. " i don't see why my feelings matter to you... he is out of prison after serving seven years .... i have no thoughts whatsoever about that." she replied curtly and Do Hyun scoffed.

"that's cool..... i was hoping you'd at least be shocked when you heard that the man who murdered your parents was out of jail" Da Hee didn't even flinch at his statement.

" i'll leave you to your work." she said and walked out of the study.

                                                   ****************************

Min Hyuk dropped his towel and sat down to eat the tteokbokki his sister had just bought. he rubbed his palms together and inhaled the aroma of the food, letting out a heavy sigh.

"it's been so long i ate tteokbokki with sundae.... thanks for the meal"  he said and started eating, Hye Jin also picked her chopsticks and started eating.

" that's right, a man came looking for you a few months ago." Hye Jin said and Min Hyuk looked up from his food, his mouth filled with food.

" a man..... who did he say he was "

" he didn't say .... he seemed to know dad because he asked if i was Kang Min Ho's daughter.... he then asked me to get my brother and i told him you weren't around.... he told me he would come back but i haven't seen him since then" Hye Jin explained

"a man... who could it be.... maybe one of dad's acquaintances who didn't know about  the accident. did he leave his contact information...." Hye Jin shook her head in negative response. "well whoever it is...will come back if why he needs me is important"

                                                             ******************

" hello....  lawyer Park..... it's me, Kim Do Hyun.....  i need a favor from you ..... let's have lunch tomorrow. my secretary will pick you up when I'm free.... thank you very much" Do Hyun ended the call and smirked with a sign of relief.
