The warriors charged again. "Uh-oh. There are more of them." Lloyd said. The Ultra dragon appeared, stomped the ground which caused some warriors to fall, then flew to the other side, beginning to roar. "Lloyd, did you practice your Elemental Quakes?" Wu asked. "Who needs to practice, when you're a natural?" Lloyd jumped out of the vehicle, flipped in the air, and hit the ground, making the earth rise in a stone kind of way. The Ninja jumped on the Ultra Sonic Raider. "Thanks, boy. Now see if you can help us find a way out of here." The green ninja also jumped on the vehicle. Their dragon shot ice to the nearby warriors and flew away, followed by the ninja. "Good." Lloyd called, "Now save yourself!"
In the dark island, Garmadon finally reached to the top. "What is this?" he asked, walking near some kind of clock. There was a helmet on a stand at the bottom of the clock. "This clock was created to count down to the final battle. Once one takes the Helmet of Shadows, the clock will start. Garmadon smiled and walked towards the helmet. "But be warned, though he who wears the Helmet of Shadows can travel between the islands at will, once it is removed, the countdown cannot be stopped." The Overlord warned. "Any more warnings?" Garmadon was already impatient. "No." The Dark Lord then did what dark lords do, reach out to the helmet, and wear it. Garmadon gave a sinister laugh. "At last, the countdown to the final battle had begun. This helmet is your birthright. With it, you have control of the army." The Overlord said. "What army?" Garmadon asked. "My army." he gave a laugh. Again.
Back in Ninjago, citizens were running in NGTV news headquarters. The Ninja did the same. "Barricade the doors." Cole said. Jay took a sofa, and Dareth took a pot of plant(?) but tripped on the sofa. "Now we head to the stairwell." The Ninja of Ice said. People ran up immediately. "Stairs? It's 20 floors. Let's just take the elevator, guys." Dareth said. "It's unwise to take the elevator during an emergency, Dareth." Zane replied. "Well, I think I'll take my chances." he said, seeing a Stone Warrior dude tun out, speaking gibberish. It stepped on a bucket and slid right back. "Okay, stairs it is." the dojo master said, sprinting to catch up with Cole and Zane. Let's get climbing, everybody!" After a little while, he was panting all over. "Guys, I need to rest." he sat down and rested. Short tip, if you're climbing stairs like they are now, and you want to rest for a little, try not to stop and sit down, because your body will mmm... get cold again, and then you'll need to use a lot more energy to get warmed up. That makes you a lot more tired than you should be. So just slow down the speed and walk, now back to the story!!
He turned around to see a warrior shout gibberish. "Second wind!" Dareth ran over Zane and Kai, and catches up with the other citizens, and accidentally pushed Misako's little tube thingie of her research out. They ran to the top. "We must buy time for our getaway." the White Ninja said. "Ninja-go!" the five shouted, launching into Spinjitzu. Cole pushed a warrior, successfully making it fall on the others, then Kai and Zane Spinjitzu'd them off the stairs. Jay and Lloyd just arrived at the bottom part, where the other warriors are. "Lighting up!" Lloyd shouted, literally lighting up with Energy. He blasted his powers towards his foes, and kicked them. After that, the two pushed them down. "Not so tough." said the kid. The warriors fell down and stood up again. "Whoh, so tough." he corrected. Further up, Zane said, "I hope we bought enough time."
At the very top of the building, citizens including Wu and Misako were looking for the bounty. "Where's the bounty?" Dareth asked. "Look." Misako pointed to where the bounty is coming from. In the cheering crowd, the old timers were about to hold hands but were separated. "Hurry, they're coming!" Lloyd called. Misako found something wrong. "My research!" she ran for the path they came from. "No! Mom. It's too dangerous to go back!" her son stopped her. " It's too important to leave behind. Mwah." she kissed his Ninja hood and ran for her important information. In the stairs, she saw where her tube thing was, but the warriors were here. Misako dodged and attack, then kicked one warrior. And then, she slid down the handle. Back at the Destiny's Bounty, the stone warriors ran after them. On the bounty, Lloyd said, "They just keep coming!" One warrior used a hammer to bunk the stuff that operates the bounty. "Oh no. This is bad." Nya said with a panicked look. "We have everyone? We've gotta get out of here. Our only remaining booster won't last much longer." she said.
"We have to wait for my mom." Lloyd said. Wu looked around, Misako wasn't there, that must mean... Before any of the Ninja could stop him, the Sensei jumped off the bounty. Yes, he jumped off a bounty with no warning and into the sea of Stone Warriors. Like everyone would think, Lloyd called, "SENSEI!" And the bounty flew upwards. Back in the stairs, Misako was looking at her research thing, while more warriors charged upwards. She jumped to hang on the rope thingies and kind of went like that to her scrolls. Misako got the stuff, but she didn't hold on to the lines, which gave her the only option: holding the bottom rail of the stairs. Wu fought off some warriors but they flew downwards. One warrior fell and held her scroll case, but it fell, and so did the research. Misako caught it with her foot. "I can't hold on..." she started. "Misako, hang on!" Wu shouted uselessly. "... much longer." she said, trying to hold on to it. At last, she fell. Wu had to hold the railing to get her. "I have you now." he said, pulling her up. The two ran into a room with nothing, but there's only the window. "There's no place to hide, we need to fight." the Sensei decided. "Do you still know Spinjitzu?" "Do you forget you never beat me?" she asked.
"I confess, I wasn't really trying." he responded. "Neither was I." she smiled. "Ninja-go!" Together, they hit some of the warriors out the window."Nya, descend." Zane said. Nya looked at him with doubt. "Do it now!" he said. In their sleeping room, Cole looked up the ceiling. What was that? A vision? Maybe something that I imagined? he thought. But he knew it was wrong, he had never imagined a dude that's green, much less tan. But... why would he be seeing this strange guy? Was there a reason? Maybe the Stone Army's brainwashing him. "No, no, no. That was before they came out." he muttered. Cole froze, something was off, as if a dream was coming to him when he's awake.
Jay did Spinjitzu. Something had to clear his mind. What does he do? He looked at his little tail, wiggled it and looked at his pants. Still not breaking, maybe there was still a little time before he was forced to tell the truth. But what if the others found out? What if they knew what happened? And what if... this big bad Overlord did make him.. STOP! Jay ruffled his hair and punched the ground. "Ow." he said. At least that stopped the whispering thoughts in his messy brain. A thought went in his brain, he knew that he was a Serpentine, alright, but he must be in a tribe. Which tribe, to be exact? "Nonononononono" he said. He didn't want it to be true. "Curse my brain and how throughly it thinks." he said, making it sound like it was NOT a compliment, which it wasn't.
Back in the sleeping room, Cole sat up straight, unable to process what he saw. A glimpse into the future. As a creepy voice promised. What was it? What was their relationship? And why? A small voice echoed in his mind: "Tell him called him... Cole."
"I'm glad we go together." Wu said, the stone warriors were walking and they were cornered to a window. "Then let's go." Misako said. They did the maybe-not-so-ridiculous-thing-after-seeing-the-whole-series-of-Ninjago. They jumped. Like, again. Heroes end the chapter by jumping off a building/cliff etc. and villains... give an evil laugh. Not any better. They landed on the Destiny's Bounty. "What—?" Wu looked surprised. The wind blew his hat, and the picture about the three of them flew away. "The past, is the past. Remember?" Misako handed him his hat. "But there's always the future." he replied.
In the Dark Island, Garmadon stood on a cliff. "Garmadon is back, baby!" The Lord said, "Garmadon is back."
