I was wandering through the streets of Mexico when i walked into the local store. i picked up some of my favourite tacos and headed to the counter. As i was paying for my snack my eyes stumbled upon a job offer posted on the pinboard in the store. Not much information was available on the leaflet just a number. After paying i quickly snapped a picture of the leaflet thinking nothing of it of course.

I guess my mom wanted me to find a job over the summer and this was the first job offer i'd seen in a long time.

I headed back home and made myself comfortable on my couch. I started up Netflix and started playing Shameless. What was i doing with my life. I quickly switched the Tv off before i got stuck to the couch for the whole day. You know what i'm going to apply for this job. Hey i might not even land it so what's stopping me ? I reached for my phone on the table which involved some extra movement leading to me becoming out of breath quickly. God i'm so unfit. I dialled the number and prepared myself. It's just another human i said to myself nothing to be scared about. I sighed. beep beep It's started ringing and my heart rang at the same pace. Just a phone call.
No one picked up. Half of me was relived i didn't need to speak to someone and live through the awkwardness. Half of me was gutted no one even picked up like damn i need this job as much as you need someone for it. i gotta get my money up somehow🙄. i switched the Tv back on and began my binging once again. I find comfort in being useless i think.🤭 A few episodes later and i was fully invested in Carls prison era. 🫣😅😅
i felt something buzzing at my feet. Oh shit Quick i need to answer this shit It was the number.
I answered. Hi i said
"hey um we are in need of someone to help pack a few orders for my brand and we're short staffed so it will be long hours but yh" said a deep man's voice.
um.. you know what i'm up for it i replied.
"great um comedown to the warehouse tomorrow i'll send you the address"
i'll be there i said *long pause* "yh i'll see you then" his croaky voice echoed through the phone. ok bye i said quickly ending the call.
WHAT THE HELL if this man ain't the sexiest mf ever i'm gonna be mad. i could not stop thinking of that man's voice all night i swear. so entrancing😿😿
