Raiden had teleported himself, (Y/N), and Johnny in the forest.
Raiden: There is great energy nearby.
Johnny: Um... Guys...
He said as he nudged at them and pointed into the distance. They both turn to look where Johnny is pointing.
They see someone in the middle of a group of Cyber Lin Kuei, getting blasted with green energy that seems to keep him trapped.

(Y/N): Smoke!
Raidne closes his, having another vision. He sees Smoke who turns into a cyborg, realizing (Y/N) was right about the Lin Kuei.
Raiden: They must not take him.
Raiden puts his hands together as lightning forms in between them and he blasts the lightning at the Cyber Lin Kuei, making yell, short out, and free Smoke from their trap.
The sudden lightning confuses Smoke as he looks for the source, while Sektor gets up, sees what's what happening, then turns around as he turns invisible, escaping the scene.
The Cyber Lin Kuei fall to the ground from the overload, smoking.
Smoke looks around him, seeing what the Grand Master has done. Then he turns to Raiden, (Y/N), Johnny who were walking towards him.
He greets them and bows to them.
Smoke: Thank you, Lord Raiden. I am called Smoke.
He stands up.
Smoke: Why are you here in Outworld?
Raiden: To participate in a tournament to save Earthrealm. Join us, Smoke.
Smoke hesitated for a bit before answering.
Smoke: Forgive me, but if Sektor was searching for me, he is hunting Sub-Zero as well.
This confuses Johnny.
Johnny: Sub-Zero? Call me crazy with a K... But didn't we see him die?
He said, while using his hand to gesture.
(Y/N): That was Bi-Han. He must be talking about his younger brother, Kuai Liang.
Johnny: Oh.
Smoke: The Grand Master intends to turn every Lin Kuei into a cyborg. My friend is in danger.
Johnny steps a side.
Raiden: The tournament. I have a feeling your friend will be there.
(Y/N): If he's looking for revenge and that other signal is Kuai Liang, Sonya and Jax are headed for him. They might tell him about Scorpion, so the tournament is the perfect place to drag him out.
