Ch.6

August

I woke up and looked at my phone to see what time it was. I got up and made my way to kitchen to start breakfast. I decided to have a family day today since it's a good day to do something. I started on the pancakes and grits. After I was done with the pancakes, I started on the bacon while the grits were still cooking and I made some eggs. After I was done with all the food, I fixed everyone's plates.

I went back to the room and woke kay up and told her to come eat. I went upstairs and woke jay up. "come on jay get up" i said shaking him. "5 more mins" he said throwing the cover over his head. "if you wanna eat then come on" i said walking. He jumped out of bed and ran in the bathroom. I guess to brush his teeth. I went to the girls room and woke them up. I told them to do their hygiene then come down to eat.

I went down stairs and seen kay sitting at the table on her phone and jay staring at his food. "don't you dare eat it..wait till everybody at the table first" i said glaring at him. He sighed and waited. The girls came down and we all sat at the table. "Who wants to start the prayer?" i asked. "I will" maria said and she started praying. "lord thank you for blessing us and bringing kaylee into our life. She is truly a blessing from you. We will always love her and make her feel like family because she is apart of our family now. I ask that you bless the food that my dad prepared..in jesus name I pray..amen" she said. We all said amen and dug in.

"I was thinking we could have a family day today" i said. "It is a nice day today" kay said. "where do ya'll want to go?" i asked. "can we go to disney land?" kaylee asked. "sure" i said smiling at her. "yay! I never been to disney land before" she said. "It's fun down there you'll love it" maria said to her. "can chad & Char come?" jay asked. "sure I will just ask their parents permission since they are family." I said. We finished breakfast and I told them all to get dressed so we can be on time for our private plane. I told char that I will come pick them up in an hour so they can be ready.

I went to my room and took a shower. I got out and did my hygiene and kay came up behind me and wrapped her arms around me. "you're such a great dad" she said smiling. "and you are a great mom" i said. I spat out the toothpaste and rinsed my mouth out. I turned around and splashed water on kay. "aug you play too much!" she said laughing. "but you love me tho" i said bending down to kiss her. "mmh i guess" she said. I picked her up and put her on the counter. "you guess?" i said. "you know i love you babe" she said. "ya betta" i said smirking.

She smiled and kissed me. "come before we be late" i said smacking her butt. We got dressed and checked on the kids to see if they were dressed. We waited on the girls to finish so we can go. Maria and Kaylee came down looking beautiful as ever. "Look at my favorite 2 girls" i said picking up kaylee and giving maria a kiss on the forehead. "you called chad and char?" i asked jay. "yea they ready" he said. "Alright lets go!" i said getting everyone in the car. We picked up char and chad and made our way to the private jet. Everybody got in and we just sat down and relaxed.

"hey dad can I talk to you real quick?" jay asked. "sure wassup?" i asked him. "well I wanted to let you know that brianna texted me this morning but idk how she got my number" he said. "well what did she say?" i asked. "she said to watch ya'll backs" he said. He showed me the text and I instantly got pissed. "Don't worry I got cameras all around the house and no one know where we going so we should be safe and when I get back we gonna make a plan cuz i'm not letting them hurt ya'll and i promise you that." i said. "i know dad I just wanted you to know and we have to figure out a plan now before it's too late" he said.
