Alaric's POV
Alora and I were in a cozy café. I had a strong black coffee, and she had a sweet vanilla latte.
As we sat together, memories of our past floated through my mind, but I kept my secret hidden. I wanted to tell her how I felt, but I was afraid.
Alora took a sip of her latte and looked at me with curiosity. "There's something mysterious about you, Alaric. It's like you have secrets."
I smiled and played along. "Yes, Alora. Sometimes, people have hidden parts of themselves. Clues might be right in front of you if you pay attention."
Alora leaned in, excited. "So, you're challenging me to uncover who you really are?"
I nodded. "Exactly. Let's embark on a journey of discovery together. But remember, the path may not be straightforward."
She rolled her eyes and drank her coffee.
"You know, Alaric, black holes are like cosmic vacuum cleaners, sucking up everything in their path. They're like the celestial troublemakers of the universe!" She spoke and I couldn't help but chuckle.
"You love space and universe stuff?" I asked to which she nodded
"Very Much. Especially black holes. Imagine, instead of vacuuming, we just open up a tiny black hole in the living room, and poof! No more dust bunnies!" We both burst into laughter and I think while staying by her side I had started to smile and laugh much more than usual.
Our laughter filled the café, drawing curious glances from other customers but we were too busy with talking about universe. Thought I wasn't a big fan of the universe since it was just an empty void with maybe a trillion galaxies here and there.
"You know, Alaric, if I ever discover a new asteroid, I'm going to name it after my favorite dessert. Asteroid Cupcake, flying through space!"
I couldn't stop laughing at that. "Wow, you sure have weird names for things, Alora"
We had finished our coffee and it was only 5 so we decided to leave and visit the park nearby.
We left the café and walked to the nearby park. As we strolled, we talked about dreams, nature, and the beauty of life.
We sat in silence, listening to the sounds of the park. I couldn't reveal everything, but I cherished our connection and the moments we shared.
Alora's POV
After a day of exploring Tokyo, Alaric and I returned to the hotel. As we entered the lobby, I couldn't help but feel a nagging curiosity about Alaric's true identity. I wanted to know more about him, but he seemed guarded, keeping his secrets hidden.
As I made my way to my room, I saw Fiorella sitting alone in the corner, lost in her own thoughts. I decided to confide in her. I approached her. "Hey, Fiorella," I greeted her softly.
Fiorella looked up, her eyes filled with warmth. "Alora! How was your day out there in Tokyo?"
I smiled, appreciating her friendly demeanor. "It was incredible, Fiorella. But there's something that's been bothering me about Alaric. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I feel like he's hiding something."
Fiorella set her book aside, giving me her full attention. "Oh, really? What makes you think that? Has he said or done anything suspicious?"
I sighed, trying to find the right words. "Well, whenever we get close to discussing personal matters or our pasts, he quickly changes the subject. It's as if he's deliberately avoiding certain topics."
