Y/N L/N was a typical and ordinary grade 12 girl trying her best to get into university. She likes reading webtoons as well as playing her favourite game. She also has good grades, a friend group, is financially stable, and is definitely on the path to success; or so it seems. While she is undoubtedly above average in terms of grades, she's certainly not a genius. Her friend group is also kind and inclusive however they never really clicked due to a lack of common interests. Nonetheless, Y/N is grateful for their company and is glad she isn't branded as a loner.

Of course, despite all this, her parents divorced when she was 15. Her parents are generally well off so she receives a monthly allowance until she is able to find a stable job post-graduation. It's not something out of the ordinary but it undeniably left an impact on her emotional well-being.

Ever since the split, she was left to her own devices in an apartment alone save for the once-a-day drop-ins from a caretaker to ensure she was still alive as well as to sign any forms since she's still a minor. Currently, she turned 18 last month and is in charge of her own finances and the caretaker no longer comes by. She has gotten more or less accustomed to all the new responsibilities but having said that, when her parents were divorcing, a fun little game was released. A game of powers and fantasy that was a way of escape from the harsh reality. A fun little game called Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact is something she hasn't told anyone about, not that she has anyone to tell anyway. She just stays in her room indulging in the magical fantasy that Genshin provides and was especially happy when her favourite character Wanderer/Scaramouche was released. She really likes him since she feels that they are in a similar situation where one has to more or less fend for themselves. Like any other person, Y/N does have many materialistic desires however she is usually able to restrain herself and save money for an emergency should anything go wrong.

When it came to the release of the wanderer, she planned on simply getting him or at most a C1. Unfortunately, was unable to hold back and C6'ed him, much to her satisfaction. Sometimes a poor financial decision is worth it. After a whole night of grinding his materials, exhausted, she flopped onto her bed and fell asleep.
