Ember" Months (4th Quarter Of The Year)
Ember months are the last four months of each year starting from September first to December thirty-first every year. The most important day in the four month is December 25th which is called Christmas day. It is a day mapped out by many Christians to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, the redeemer and the savior of the world. It is a feast observed globally all over the world by Christians. It is done yearly every December which is the last month of the year. During this period, a lot of evil takes place. Through an organized network of principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places, Satan always seek to meet up with his evil agenda which is to steal, destroy, kill and hinder God's plan and purpose in all nations. A lot of evil activities always go on few months to December every year, especially from the month of September. Both God and the devil are very much interested in these few months before and after December.
And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems. His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she bore her child he might devour it. She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne, and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for 1,260 days. Satan Thrown Down to Earth Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
— REVELATION 12:1-9
The beginning of every year, the birth of everything and its end is very important to God and to the host of hell- the devil and his agents. As God's children travail to give birth to good things- prosperity, joy, peace, happiness and to please God, powers of darkness are also on the go to hinder them. The devil and his evil organized network of principalities, agents of Satan move demons everywhere on earth to hinder believers from getting the good things of this world without compromising.
Then he said to me, "Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words.
— DANIEL 10:12, 13
After the children of Israel suffered seventy years of captivity in a foreign land, the devil blocked them from leaving their land of captivity. Even when they were officially allowed to leave, only 42,360 left because the majority of the children of Israel preferred their houses and gardens in Babylon to their desolate home land (Daniel 10:1; 1:21; 9:1, 2; Ezra 1:1-11; Ezra 2:64, 65). Daniel was over 85 years of age at that time and so, he was no longer active in public service affairs. Daniel was disappointed and sorrowful because the majority were not interested in leaving the foreign land. This prompted Daniel begin to pray, mourn and fast unto God. He started fasting and prayer on the 3rd of Nisan and on the 24th of that same month, the answer came through the heavenly visitors (Daniel 10:1-3; Joshua 7:5-16; 2 Samuel 12:15-23; Esther 4:1-3, 13-17; Matthew 6:16-18; 9:14, 15). When he started praying for himself and his people (Daniel 10:12, 14; 9:24; 12:1), Christ in his glory and sovereignty appeared to Daniel. Daniel and the men with him who did not behold the vision were so overwhelmed by His presence that a great quaking fell upon them so that they fled to hide themselves. Let me ask you this question: if the righteous trembled, helplessly fell upon their faces, became dumb and had their comeliness changed at the presence of God in a vision what will be your condition if Christ comes to you during or after Christmas with sin in your life (Daniel 10:7-9; Isaiah 6:1-6; Ezekiel 1:28)?
