Amity Rosarío Torres (code name: Sparrow) - Born February 14th in London, England, Amity is the heiress to the family name, the Torres family. A former Spanish aristocratic family in the 1500's. In 1604 her family's name became worthless (due to war and partial death of a beloved family member) and the only way to gain back that wealth is by becoming a knight. Many Torres men have become knights. Yet when her father had no sons, he sent Amity. She's highly skilled in archery, shooting, and combat. Other hobbies she has are playing the violin, painting and composing music. Her middle name is Rorsarío, her grandmother's name.
SETTING The book is set in the modern day British Isles, in the English region. Amity's race or ethnicity was not said in the chapters but she's Black and Spanish. Jisung is Korean and English. She was given the title "my knight" by Jisung simply to refer to her, then to a form of endearment. Amity grew up in the poorer side of Western London and was often called an outcast for her brown skin. She befriended two boys from the same neighborhood, Christopher and Felix. They are also in the King's Guard, as of chapter five (uploaded) and six (still in the works.)
