SEETHER.
Barrett Knotts is a terrible girl. She's made of frogs and snails, of slugs and puppy-dogs' tails; take a bite and you'd spit her out, no sugar, nor spice to be found. Barrett only sometimes wishes to be like the other girls (see: the rest of the entire student body at Hogwarts), knowing there's this inherent darkness within her, but the deep manifestation that lurks in her soul is a comforting weight – she's not special by any means, with average grades, adequate magic ability, simply all-around mediocre.
But Barrett likes it that way.
It's her sister, Bridget, that's the special one: top of the class where she can be, loved by the whole of Ravenclaw House, teacher's pet... And also a damned Werewolf. There's that darkness in everyone, right? Barrett's got the scars of proof for her sister's darkness, but it's not like it's the Knotts family sworn secret or anything, right?
Instead, Barrett throws her darkness out, letting no one enter her orbit, and magnetising them towards Bridget. The sisters are a push and pull, whilst one repels, the other attracts. Barrett supposes that she's lucky the Weasley Twins have always had polarising thoughts, her own magic thriving with theirs, helping to kickstart their legacy as renowned troublemakers – George finds it an added bonus that Barrett actually talks to Peeves, out of everyone.
