Chapter 1

It was a normal day for the Hashiras.

Rengoku was eating food while shouting "Umai!".

Shinobu was annoying Giyuu.

Giyuu was being annoyed by Shinobu.

Obanai was taking care of Mitsuri.

Sanemi was ignoring his brother, Genya.

Muichiro was... Well, he was just staring at the wall since hours.

Gyomei was praying.

Tengen was having lunch with his wives.

So, nobody expected for their master, Kagaya Ubuyashiki to summon them out of nowhere at the Ubuyashiki mansion.

When they all gathered up, they saw that beside Kagaya, stood a boy, not more than 20, in age it seemed. One thing clear about the boy, was that he was nervous.

Rengoku: Oyakata-sama. What is it that was this urgent that you summoned us all here?

Kagaya smiles.

Kagaya: Kyoujuro... I summoned you here to introduce you to the newest addition to the Hashira rank. This boy here, is your new comrade. I've seen to it myself that this boy is worthy of the title. Treat him well.

Kagaya turns to the boy.

Kagaya: Go, introduce yourself.

The boy silently nods and walks up to the group of Hashiras, his sword hanging by his side.

He starts to speak softly.

...

A little too softly.

Sanemi: Speak up, new guy!

The boy straightens up.

Y/N: My name... Is Y/N L/N... I... Am 19 years old... I am... The Nature Hashira...

Rengoku starts to laugh.

Rengoku: Nice to meet you, Y/N L/N! I am Kyoujuro Rengoku! I am the Flame Hashira!

Y/N: *a bit startled* *nods* Nice to meet you... Mr. Rengoku...

Y/N then looks at the woman with purple hair, who was smiling.

Shinobu: I am Shinobu Koucho. I am the Insect Hashira. Pleasure to meet you.

Y/N nods at her.

Y/N: Nice to meet you... Koucho...

He then turns to the buff guy with white hair and seemingly two swords instead of one as sparkles suddenly started appearing around the guy.

Uzui: *sparkling* I am the flambouyant Tengen Uzui. I am the Sound Hashira.

Y/N nods again.

Uzui: Not much of a talker, are you?

Y/N shakes his head.

He then turns towards the second female Hashira.

Mitsuri: I am Mitsuri Kanroji. The love Hashira. It's exciting having a new friend.

Y/N takes his coat off and puts it on her, hiding her chest.

Y/N: Nice to meet you too, Kanroji...

He then turns to the guy with multiple scars on his body and a long one on his face.

Sanemi: The name's Sanemi Shinazugawa. Better learn it because you're gonna realise I'm the strongest in no time!

Y/N nods again.

Y/N: Nice to meet you too, Sanemi...

He then turns to the seemingly youngest Hashira.

Y/N blinks.

The Hashira blinks.

Y/N blinks again.

The Hashira blinks again.

Y/N nods.

The Hashira nods back.

Uzui: *whispering to Rengoku* Is this some sort of telepathy between Tokito and L/N, or...?

Y/N looks at the biggest dude, who looked like he was praying.

Y/N: ...

Gyomei: Oh, what a poor boy you are, feeling nervous. I'll pray for you.

He starts to shed tears.

Y/N: ...

He then turns to the guy Shinobu was busy annoying.

Y/N looks at him, and the black haired guy looks back at him.

Soon, the two share a nod and shake hands.

Y/N: Pleased to meet you.

Giyuu: Same here.

Shinobu: *whispering* My god, there's two of them...

Y/N looks at the tree to see the last guy who looked like he bought everything he could find in an Adidas shop sale.

Obanai: The name's Obanai Iguro. I am the Serpent Hashira. Stay away from Mitsuri and we won't have a problem.

Y/N looks at him as his gaze lands upon Obanai's snake.

Y/N tilts his head.

The snake tilts its head.

Y/N pets the snake, as everyone looks at the scene in surprise.

Uzui: He just petted Obanai's snake... FLASHY!

Y/N looks at the whole lot of Hashiras as he bows.

Y/N: Hope we can get along well.

Rengoku looks at the boy and smiles to himself.

Rengoku: Me and him are gonna get along just amazingly... I have a feeling.

Kagaya: Well, now that the introductions are over. Please make yourself at home.

Y/N nods before looking at him.

Y/N: umm... Oyakata-sama...?

Kagaya looks at Y/N, his smile never leaving his face.

Y/N: Where will I... Be staying...?

Rengoku: He can stay with me!

Y/N looks at Rengoku, then back at Kagaya as he nods.

Y/N looks at Rengoku and walks up to him and stands beside him.

Rengoku looks at Y/N and smiles.

Rengoku: Let's go.

Y/N silently nods as he starts to follow Rengoku.

A/N: Aand... That does it for the first chapter, we got a basic introduction to the Hashiras and stuff, but still, a short chapter, so I apologize for that.
